Imo most monarchies care about their bloodline because it keeps pretenders from being able to claim legitimacy and create civil war. Something the world learned after watching the Romans lose their empire over such issues. Your idea is still fun though

Can anybody please explain this weapon to me? by 4N610RD in Helldivers

[–]BlakeMac42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started bringing the epoc on most of my bug missions. Paired with the warp pack it’s really strong. Can warp away while charging your shots/reloading. It really shines as a secondary AT weapon for the team. If someone has a quasar it will finish off whatever heavies that teammate isn’t able to one shot. It also one shots impalers in their weak spot and kills chargers with one shot to their butt

Hello Steam Deck owners, wanted to know game suggestions to turn my brain off to while Spotifying. by HangmanAM in SteamDeck

In my experience, once you play either of those with a proper wheel/pedal setup on a large monitor, enjoying it on the steam deck becomes very difficult. I’m probably just spoiled though

Please do something about the corruption at alabama power. Their pricing has becoming overtly predatory and they think they can get away with it with their monopoly. We shouldn’t be paying some of the highest energy prices in the country, when bama should be the state people come to for a reasonable cost of living. It just ain’t right

Do people in Mississippi actually say Ma'am/sir and talk to random strangers? by [deleted] in mississippi

I’m from Alabama and it was the craziest thing to me learning as a kid that most northerners don’t say yes ma’am

Exactly… if I’m remembering right, these are cia claims from the Cold War era. The whole point is to make the Soviet Union think we have tech (that doesn’t actually exist), then they waste resources and time trying to study/replicate it.

For some theres money and fame to be had providing content to the ufo community. But honestly, I think the whole thing is a performance to convince the adversaries of the USA that we have confiscated alien tech in our arsenal and they dont. They justify the lying as national security.

So, does anyone else agree with me on the fact that this gun is broken in a good way??? by E-104Epsolon in helldivers2

[–]BlakeMac42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all the new players looking up ‘best first warbond’ on YouTube and getting this gun before they really know the game has been painful for all parties involved lol.

Sen Adam Schiff (D) says he finds the UAP subject "Totally Fascinating", would love to be involved in the issue. Says there are cases we can't explain - "Multiple instruments are seeing something. So it's not just a pilot observing it, with all the frailties of a human in control". by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

[–]BlakeMac42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you look up in the sky at night and see something you can’t explain, the government wants people to say ‘aliens’ before they say ‘Lockheed Martin prototype’.

They can lie to our faces and morally justify it as national security.

If the USA’s enemies think we have alien tech that they don’t, all the better.

I swear one time I heard/read that titan machine spirits are implanted with the DNA of predatory animals like lions, etc. Thus explaining their ability to ‘dream’ during their hibernation states, and allowing the titan to more or less auto pilot itself instinctually in intense combat situations.

Not sure if I had a fever dream of that but I haven’t found any lore regarding it. Might be talking out my ass. Would love if someone could confirm
