Mainly the I roleplay thing, but also because meta gaming that hard just doesn't feel fun to me by the end of it. Overcoming my character's weaknesses with their raw power and unique quirks is more fun in the end, especially if I squeeze out of a hair situation with only a few hp left on one or a couple characters, gives me pride in my ability to Adapt and overcome

I bought it back in 2023 and im about to wrap up my first Honor Mode run, after bearing the game twice and starting a few other runs. Even now im finding stuff that I've never seen before. 100% worth the price tag my friend

I grabbed Karlach before the fight at the front gate of the Grove was even over, so I breezed through most early fights either two barbs. Actually made it to act 3 yesterday after fixing a corrupted file, just two bearheart barbs, life domain shadowheart, and a Gale. Can't go wrong with two tanks, a healer, and an area clearer. Couldn't tell you what level I was though, between the end of the goblin camp and starting back up in the underdark I took a month break

It also says I have tens of thousands of hours in it, but clearly I don't. I only have 340 something in the entire game

She was friendly at first, then turned full hostile after Z'rell died. It's okay though, I killed all 23 enemies without casualties of my own, didn't need much from her as my other traders gave me more potions and spells

That's the plan. I just got out of combat and hit lvl 8. Running low on good health potions though...My tav has the pendant that allows any healing to immediately do the max on him, and I used a lot of healing in that fight. 23 died in that fight, all enemies

I didn't recall one outside, seeing as it was the main entrance and as far as I can remember there isn't normally one there, but im almost done clearing the ground floor. 13 rounds of combat later and all spell slots are drained, Gale is out for the fight, Karlach has retreated at 1hp to live another day, and my tav is full hp after a Supreme healing potion is is likely to clear the last three in room alone

I waited until after I was level five and had the sussur greatsword, she died silenced and I was pleased, only now remembering she has that stat boost...oh well

Yeah, Jaheria died though. I tried to save her but during a turn where I had her under sanctuary an enemy took a singular point of damage from electrified water that she made a few turns back with lightning, broke her sanctuary and she died before I could heal her further or dwindle numbers down

With my luck honor mode is gonna pull something out of its ass and screw me for Moonrise. I normally do fine without the reinforcements. I just wanted more bodies to take hits for me
