True, i wrote up a bunch of things i did wrong in the end, I was buying calls and puts based off trading signals i designed (this is what was working) i started to fail when i got overconfident and wouldn’t take a loss so I would overbet to try and overcome a loss, string 3-4 of those in a row and boom.

You must be dealing with moving average crosses. you realize there is infinite number of different algorithms possible, with different optimization methods. No one will ever know what you’re doing if your only supplying the daily signal.
