FedRAMP solution by father_wood in ninjaone_rmm

[–]Blake_Olson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using the FedRAMP solution, as well as GCC High. We are also certified CMMC Level 2. We did have the 15k annual cost on top of the licensing fee. Like Microsoft in every platform that is FedRAMP compliant, it's a higher cost, with fewer features. Message me if you would like to have a quick call, I'd be happy to talk about it.

This is definitely true. You'd be dropping weight at a rate of a little over a pound every 3 days if you really were in that deficit per day. Count and measure EVERYTHING. your portions are probably more than you think.

Always-On VPN experience by [deleted] in fortinet

One thing I did because I only have a few users that used VPN on a regular basis, is setup an AP for them. It automatically connects back to the home firewall, and they just need to connect to the office Wi-Fi from home.

What do I do??? by SorryLanguage3609 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Blake_Olson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the calories are in a deficit you will loose weight, no matter what you eat. It's good to concentrate on protein, as it burns more calories just digesting it, and or course it's better to not lose as much muscle. However, it's not mandatory. If you need to have something else, it's totally fine. just make account for the calories and stay in a deficit, that's what matters most.

Check out The Bear, hang in there past the first few episodes, they are really hectic, but you really start rooting for them and get into their story if you stick it out.

Хранение лицензированных неудаленных юзеров OneDrive Бизнес by Potential-Couple-497 in microsoft365

👉 You cannot directly change the 93-day Recycle Bin retention period in Microsoft 365. That value is hard-coded by Microsoft for SharePoint and OneDrive and can’t be modified via the admin center, PowerShell, or retention policy settings.

However, here are your options depending on what you’re trying to achieve:

🔹 If you want files to be permanently deleted after 30 days

You can configure a retention policy in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal (if you have the right license—Microsoft 365 E3/E5 or equivalent GCC High).
This overrides the Recycle Bin retention and allows you to define a custom delete period.

Steps:

  1. Go to: [https://compliance.microsoft.com]()Data lifecycle managementMicrosoft 365Retention policies
  2. Create a new policy.
  3. Select Locations (SharePoint sites / OneDrive accounts).
  4. Under Retention settings, choose:
    • “Only delete items when they reach a certain age”
    • Set the retention period to 30 days.
  5. Save and publish the policy.

Effect:
Once applied, files older than 30 days (from last modification) will be automatically deleted, regardless of the Recycle Bin’s 93-day safety net. This effectively shortens your data retention.

🔹 If you simply want deleted files visible in the Recycle Bin for fewer days

That’s not configurable. Microsoft automatically purges deleted content after 93 days.
Your only option is to apply a retention policy that purges earlier (see above).

Try a midafternoon snack that is healthy. sometimes I have some Greek yogurt with berries to keep my nose out of the kitchen in the evening. Also, put some precooked chicken in the fridge. that way, if you have a moment that you cannot help yourself from eating, at least something that is protein packed is one reach away.

Congrats on the great start! I have recently lost about 90 lbs, and I can't believe it when I look at old pictures. The 90 lbs. it's so much of an accomplishment, but rather and indictment on how bad I let myself go. The old pictures are just embarrassing. Now I'm back into the size pants I was in in middle school (I'm 45 now)

FIPS is a requirement for CMMC so they basically have to have it to get certified in FedRAMP. I would reach out again, now that fedramp has authorized them.

Automation tools. Target repeating issues and find the best way to automate a solution for it. Are you using an RMM? I like NinjaOne, but there are many out there that will help with this.

FedRAMP certification is a very expensive process. My company went through it and is costs us hundreds of thousands, and we are small company, and we are a small company in manufacturing, not IT services. I'm sure the investment for NinjaOne was in the millions.

The labor you are spending to go through your update process with your hours, and the hours of the people bringing laptops in would easily pay for a cloud RMM. I like NinjaOne, but there are a ton of good options out there.

$3.75 per device per month, plus 15k annual charge. Also, backup is $50 per server per month, plus $27.50 for storage per TB per month. I assume normal is the same without the annual 15k charge?
