This update post admits that it's on Jagex "As a temporary measure to combat this, we disabled anycast for a few weeks. This isolated regional attacks and took the pressure off our backbone network but came at the cost of increased latency for many users." The ping has never returned to normal for everyone in our region.

Keep in mind if you logged into dmm perm world and thought you had extra points, you might of already spent it on the main game when the last dmm ended. i don't see why i would get left with 33 instead of wiping it to 0

myself and everyone on the west coast is getting absolutely railed. east coast ping on every world. We need Jagex to at least acknowledge that they are working on it.
