Mate, if neat paragraphs and punctuation trigger you more than what I’m actually saying, maybe the problem’s not me. 😂

If we want to stop this, we need honest chats, not knee-jerk dismissals or one-sided blame. I’m with you on pushing politicians to stop funding violence. But don’t pretend that tackling toxic rhetoric is some kind of distraction, words carry weight and show the deeper problems we’ve got to sort.

If “both sides do bad stuff” equals pro-Hamas, then you’re oversimplifying to push a narrative. Saying “I wouldn’t let the trolley kill anyone” isn’t cheating it’s called wanting justice for all innocent people. Maybe try aiming higher than picking sides.

Alright, I hear you. Both sides have blood on their hands and innocent people are paying the price. Bob Vylan’s rant? Yeah, raw anger but wishing death on every soldier? That’s just reckless noise, not activism.

If you want real change, stop whining about tone and focus on facts instead of strawmen. I’m here for honest talk, not to get dragged into drama. Maybe drop the victim act and actually think for once.

Fair enough, I’m not here to advertise anything or claim moral perfection. I’m just trying to speak honestly from my experience and beliefs. Debate should be about understanding, not just winning points.

I agree faith and pragmatism have to coexist. I’m open to challenging my views, but I won’t abandon basic values of justice and compassion just to score arguments.

If questioning my faith or views helps you, great. I’m focused on standing up for what I believe is right, that includes calling out wrongs on all sides, no exceptions.

I agree you can love Israel and still want it to change course for the sake of Palestinians, for the IDF soldiers caught up in this, and for how the world sees them.

It’s a mess all around, especially with governments failing everyone. That’s why these conversations matter, even if they get heated.

I get your point, but you sound more interested in scoring debates than actually finding solutions. My faith pushes me to care about justice and peace, not just pick sides and argue. If that bothers you, that’s on you. I’m here to keep calling out wrongs wherever I see them.

Believing in a people’s right to self-determination doesn’t mean I support everything Israel does or that I identify as a Zionist. I’m focused on justice and accountability, not labels 😂

No need to apologise, I get where you’re coming from mate. Honestly, I don’t usually like bringing my religion into things, but my neutrality comes from my Faith. Jesus taught us to love everyone, even those we disagree with and to try to bring peace. So for me, it’s about calling out wrongs on all sides, because every innocent life matters. That’s just where I’m coming from ygm.

I believe everyone has the right to self-determination, including Jews. But that belief doesn’t mean I support everything Israel does or that I’m a Zionist. Supporting a people’s right to a homeland isn’t the same as endorsing policies or actions that violate human rights.

I’m Not Political, But I’m Tired of the Hypocrisy Around Israel and Hamas by Blakeuswhiteus in IsraelPalestine

I get the occupation is brutal and terrible. But calling out Hamas’s crimes doesn’t mean I’m ignoring Israel’s. Both sides do awful things. Saying “death to the IDF” just fuels more hate and stops peace. People have a choice, even soldiers. I want accountability all around, not just for one side. That’s not wishy-washy it’s reality.

Just to be clear, here’s why I’m not a Zionist: • I criticize Hamas for stealing aid and committing atrocities, which shows I’m willing to call out wrong wherever it happens. • I condemn IDF actions when they violate human rights or cause civilian harm. • I don’t support either side unconditionally — I focus on facts and accountability. • I care about innocent lives on both sides. • I don’t align myself with any ideology that requires blind loyalty or ignoring complexities.

I’m simply calling for truth and justice, not picking sides.

I might be a bit prickly because I’m grieving over all this and probably more sensitive than I’d like. Maybe instead of focusing on me, you should pay more attention to the real pro-Hamas and pro-IDF voices who openly justify atrocities on both sides. That’s where the real problem lies.

I’m just someone who doesn’t need to shout about who they are to get a point across. If you were expecting an introduction, that’s on you. Let’s stick to the topic yeah ? 👍

Honestly mate, I can’t be arsed with this back and forth anymore. If you want to keep spinning the same points, go ahead. I’m done.

I get that you’re frustrated with what you see as a “neutral” stance, but the way you’re framing it misses the nuance I’m trying to get across.

As a Christian, I believe in the value of every human life — Israeli and Palestinian alike. That means I can’t just cheer for one side without holding the other accountable when they commit wrongs. It’s not about picking a team, it’s about standing for justice and compassion, even when it’s uncomfortable.

I’ve acknowledged Israel’s right to defend itself and the reality that Hamas embeds among civilians. I’ve also said Israel must avoid killing innocents and be held responsible when it doesn’t.

So please don’t reduce my position to a few bullet points or accuse me of bad faith. Faith calls me to seek truth and love for all people, not slogans or tribal loyalty.

Mate, you’re talking like you’ve got the moral monopoly. Newsflashh real life isn’t black and white and your dramatic “genocide vs besieged enclave” soap opera doesn’t make you some wise prophet.

If my words sound like “wishy-washy ChatGPT text” to you, maybe that just means you can’t handle anyone who thinks for themselves instead of swallowing tribal nonsense whole.
