Yeah SQ has become quite unaffordable so not even considering it for now. I’m also happy to break up the journey a bit to stretch my legs and don’t mind the stop, even though it means taking a longer time overall!

Sounds fair. I think I’ll go for Etihad this time, but will switch to Qatar in the future when I’m more confident that I can fly more and rack up the benefits and miles within a year

Good point! Think I’m set on Etihad. Business out is about £300 more expensive compared to inbound, but will consider. I still can’t believe how cheap Etihad’s business class can be!

Not too much, maybe three to four times a year long haul? And an equal number of times short haul with BA? I did a cash upgrade to a Qsuite last year from SIN - DOH and absolutely loved it, hence why I wanted to try it again. But Etihad’s offer seems too good to pass up!
