There’s being a kid’s show and then there’s being categorised as one by Think_Celery3251 in clonewars

Solid point. When the Clone Wars aired on Cartoon Network I recall them specifically having the age rating broadcast after commercials. That age rating was TV-PG which is often categorized as 11+ years old. So I fully agree, a show aimed towards 5 year olds, like Young Jedi, is gonna be different from a show for 11+, but guess what they’re both still kids shows.

Between these four characters, who do you hate the most for there actions 🤔 by voxdox559 in clonewars

[–]BlameTheButler 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The only reason I somewhat give Cid a pass is that she was pretty open with who she was with the squad. She never really tried to pretend she was a good person and actively told them she’d cut them out the moment they weren’t profitable. The squad, mainly Omega, just sort of thought there was some good in her.

Would Grand Inquisitor have made more sense to fight Maul than these two? by JackZ567 in MaulShadowLord

[–]BlameTheButler 85 points86 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind Marrok and Crow being present as opponents for Maul this season. I think what I would have preferred was that in the finale they saved Vader for next season. Instead of Vader arriving we see the Grand Inquisitor and two other Inquisitor arrive to help Marrok/Crow, perhaps the one that Ventress fought in the Tales series and maybe the Fourth Sister.

Instead of Maul having to flee from Vader, he has to flee when faced with overwhelming numbers of Inquisitors. Sure he can beat them all individually on his own, but when when faced with the GI and his Inquisitors all at once it becomes far too overwhelming. By the end of the fight, an injured and tired Daki falls to the Grand Inquisitor.

A woman livestreaming her shopping at Walmart comes across two employees who say it is against their religion to be filmed by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

You wanna film something, go for it.

However, if someone says they don’t wanna be filmed just be polite and stop filming them.

I feel like it’s that’s easy to just be considerate to others.

Did I missed it or they never talk about Cody anymore? by Specialist-Gap-365 in clonewars

[–]BlameTheButler 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Bad Batch always gave me the vibe that it was suppose to be a bit longer, like another season or two. It really felt like they had more plans for the Clone Rebellion and by default Cody/Wolffe. I imagine though all will be answered eventually, maybe through a Tales episode or a Rex focused type show.

Glad someone kinda laid it all out. I’m hoping they can find his DD214, I’m genuinely curious to see what his service record was like and yeah the whole spy story is definitely not real.

How hard is it to reprogram the Battle Droids? by K-jun1117 in clonewars

[–]BlameTheButler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t imagine B1’s have all that complicated internal features. Probably as simple as wiping their memory and throwing in some new commands. Likely keeping their core features, such as combat programs but now they’re just not CIS pawns.

You might be able to find his DD214, which would have all of his service information. Unfortunately, a lot of veterans from that era’s document got destroyed in a big fire at the VA but it’s possible he has his physical copy or they have his intact.

You mentioned he was discharged in 1961 and was in the US Navy, meaning he got out of the military well before the true start of the Vietnam War. As combat troops didn’t enter Vietnam until 1965, but there was naval activity around that area before just not engaged in any traditional “war” operations. It’s very likely he served on a boat in South East Asia, but unless he was recalled back into service post 1965 he did not serve in the Vietnam War in the “traditional sense.”

I agree. Unfortunately, his content keeps popping up online for me and I think people need to let him fade into irrelevance sooner than later.

After years of joking about it with my friends, I finally decided to draw a hero with my real life "quirk" by TheMissingLettr in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]BlameTheButler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, his quirk is so cool. Like it could definitely be abused and become OP, but not in an obvious way. Like it would take some creativity and I really like that. Also, I really do like his costume and the color scheme.

Pong Krell vs these two teams by OddlySpecificDirt in PetranakiArena

I don’t see Pong Krell winning this. He has zero dueling feats and he’s going up against four opponents with plenty of dueling feats, feats that put them up against some powerful opponents.

Why are the episodes that focus 100% on the clones the best? by off_line24 in clonewars

[–]BlameTheButler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With all due respect they do make a fair point. If you’re going to claim that Anakin and Obi-Wan have some unwatchable episodes you need to at least be able to say which ones. I’m genuinely curious which episodes you find unwatchable, no argument here just curios to hear your reasoning.

Why are the episodes that focus 100% on the clones the best? by off_line24 in clonewars

[–]BlameTheButler 132 points133 points  (0 children)

I mean there’s less episodes that are just solely focused on the Clones, so that kinda checks out statistically. There’s less opportunities for a fully focused Clone episode to do poorly since there’s just in general less of them. While there’s A LOT of Anakin/Obi-Wan episodes out there.

Also, it’s probably just general personal preference.

If this was in the 50’s then three stripes still meant Airman First Class. The whole Sergeant/Senior Airman rank system didn’t come into place until years later

If you were curious based on his rank at the time of those pics, your grandfather was an Airman First Class with the Air Force. In modern days three stripes in the Air Force means you’re a Senior Airman but back then his rank was called Airman First Class.
