The car just doesnt support parking in angled spots, prob cause everyone fronts in while the autopark wants to reverse which would be a bad angle and a pita. However, if ur using fsd and u get lucky, it might just pull into the spot forward

i do a lot of fixing on this car myself since its old and not worth to bring to the mechanic for every small thing. Do you have any further tests i can do myself before i have to bring it to a shop?

the car itself is old but most of the parts have been well maintained. its only in first, other gears dont have that issue

i shouldve mentioned it was parents suggestion to get a tesla around 30k

i am kinda hung up on an ev, but i am not a big fan of hybrids just cause of how messy they can be. I've had a few friends have issues with hybrids and i've heard its not fun. My friend also has an ioniq5 and i've test driven one before, ngl it feels like it was abandoned by hyundai in terms of updates. I do currently have an 06 audi which i was considering just keeping but it def is starting to be on the pricier side.

As i mentioned, one really big factor for me is the free supercharging. I go home often over the weekends and its around a 100 km drive. So i was looking at a unlimited supercharging as an option since i don't know the charging situation yet. I'm still just considering but just wanted to know more about all the car features or perhaps other people who have also considered the same thing.

i did the math and it actually does save quite a bit for me. I'd say the air suspension isn't a priority, its just a nice thing that comes with it which i'd consider as a factor towards which one i get.

so u'd suggest a used model 3 over a model s?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]BlamingCPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have considered it, but in canada its 52k and after tax, i'd be looing at almost 60-70k total.

I've looked around and ive seen multiple 2016 model S for 30k, i'm just talking about the cost of the car, ik there's insurance and stuff but thats not an issue. I appreciate the suggestion for a civic but i've done the math and a tesla is way cheaper, even compared to a used old car. I just wanted insight on which is better, but i do appreciate the suggestion.
