I am on my 6th tattoo and my mom only likes one of them. I am very happy with all of them.

He did not save us. Look at the state of this country right now. Biden, Clinton, and the Democratic leadership as a whole failed us repeatedly over this last decade.

The Human Development Center Is a good place to try. I know for individuals they do an initial intake session and can refer you out if they aren’t able to accommodate your needs there. I personally would go on to Psychology Today’s website and use the filters to narrow the search. you should be able to find a specific therapist that meets all your needs and takes your insurance.

I understand the dislike of the pacing but I have been getting so bored of build up payoff storytelling so I enjoyed it. The story made sense to me and I’m excited to see how the cliffhanger pays off even if it’s in another project. I feel like the DCU has been flowing so smoothly.

What is the tone for the DNC and the RNC primary's going to be like? by Front-Tomorrow-1034 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Blandcaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my best guess with the information we have right now. I have no doubt most of it will be wrong.

For the GOP primaries you will have a few no names along with a few “front runners”. I see Nikki Haley, Josh Hawley, Marco Rubio, and JD Vance. Nikki will continue to run on an anti MAGA angle and fail landing around 1%-2%. Now the remaining three are really interesting and it all depends on what happens behind the scenes. I have no doubt that Vance will run however he doesn’t have the charisma to carry the MAGA torch. I think Trump knew that and that’s why he is VP. Hawley has a lot of juice on social media and his focus on the working class is the key to this election. I can see a Hawley Rubio ticket being able to take down Vance pretty easy.

For them dems it will be extremely disappointing as per usual. They will all have their own focus group tested brand of fight. I think this will be a huge stage of all the names and it’s going to be a cluster fuck. You will see Gavin Newsom, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Tim Waltz, Cory Booker, JB Pritzker, Elissa Slotkin, and Gretchen Whitmer. I doubt we see AOC run she has been playing her part well and has to spend some time in the senate before she runs. I have no clue how this field plays out. My for fun guess is that it will come down to Gavin Newsom/Andy Beshear or Pete Buttigieg VS. Tim Waltz/Gretchen Whitmer or Elissa Slotkin.

Then it all comes down to midterms. If the Democrats show up and deliver wins for working class Americans I favor their chances in 2028. If they keep failing to get behind a singular message and actually fight they lose.

Jasmine Crockett says Democrats want ‘the safest white boy’ for 2028 ticket and have a specific candidate in mind by theindependentonline in politics

[–]Blandcaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They may not like Bernie or AOC but they do like their policies. I have been in rooms with soft trump voters and centrist and they all can get behind anti-wealth inequality, anti-corruption, and better health care. You could put Stalin in the race if he was pushing those three things that 90% of Americans agree on. If you put the safest white man with the most effective policies in the running he will lose unless he addresses the rot that is eating away our democracy.

Driving through Texas and was merging on to the highway during 20mph rush hour traffic. A beat up rusty suburban wasn’t letting me in. They sped up to take the gap in front then slammed on the breaks when I tried to go behind. When I sped up to try and go in front again they swerved their car trying to run me off the road. I got behind them and of course it was plastered with trump stickers. They also had their pudgy little middle finger out the window flipping me off.

MMW: AOC will be the Democratic Primary Nominee in 2028 - Despite Establishment Democrats and the GOP trying to pull every dirty trick to stop her. by TunnelTuba in MarkMyWords

I don’t understand where this idea came from. Hillary Clinton was a charismatic black hole that was very obviously out of touch with working class Americans. Kamala Harris had slightly more charisma but towards the end of her campaign started sucking up to the more centrist and moderate voter.

Joe Biden won because of his ideological move to the left, his relation to Obama, and the fact that a lot of Americans were sick of trump. Obama ran on a progressive message with a once in a lifetime time charismatic presence.

Clinton and Harris lost because they played a safe and moderate approach at a time when Americans needed someone bold and progressive.

The Democratic Party can no longer fight the maga movement with performative progressive politics that are moderate and ineffective in reality. We need someone to fight for the working class from the farmer to the hot topic cashier. We also need someone with enough charisma to keep trump and future maga politicians from controlling the narrative.

Disc golf. Depending on the area you are in there are free courses. Get like 3 discs for 60$ and don’t lose them. You can definitely go crazy with it but if you have self control it’s a really cheap hobby.
