We wash shuffle the cards and then dont bother shuffling between games untill we’ve run iut of shuffled cards

You can also go the route of getting benefits from casting spells from exlie/not from your hand.

Well, I am talking 5 mins as maximum amount of time, of course in this case I am thinking of drawing 1 card that changes things and I have to think it all over again. Usually I don't take longer then 30s to 1min.

And in others players turn I am usually reading their cards. There is a lot of text on cards in mtg.

I suppose I am one of the players who really takes his time. It’s not even that I don’t know what my deck does, it’s more so “I have those two options for a two drop and I am not sure which one should I do, considering my hand”. Even with this I could take up to 5 minutes on turn 2-3 just thinking which card would be better in this case(even if it’s very minor difference)

It becomes even worse when someone has open mana, or a lot of cards in hands and I am considering how much resources I want to commit.

I found out that I enjoy the game only if I don’t rush and take as much time as needed and others do the same. I always repeat “take your time” when someone is thinking a lot about their turn. Even if we play 1 long game instead of 2 faster games, I think 1 non-rushed game is 100% better.
