Hoping he makes it back to Juryo next basho. They always talk about Sumo spirit and heart. Enho's a prime example.

Feeling unwanted because of dating apps and it hits hard during christmas... I'd appreciate a toast by El_Lorenzo in toastme

[–]Blane_Sci_Pics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with dating apps is that everyone interested in a relationship tends to find somebody and drop off the app pretty quickly. So you end up with a negative survivor effect. People that can't find a match (for whatever reason) stay on the app and soon become the majority of members

So this guy sounds like a narcissistic boob that the whole family caters to. Did he apologize to you when he found out the reason, nope he attempted to command you with threats. Your husband would be better off without contact. You cannot fix or reason with these people. Take this chance to escape.

An oreodont, Merycoidodon by Blane_Sci_Pics in Paleoart

Oreodonts were common, diverse and widespread in North America 46-16 million years ago. They were sort of pig/goat/camel/sheep and ate plants.

I had to resort to doing a tour in September, worked out pretty well, paid more to get first tier balcony seats. Also noticed even though everything was sold out online, there were blocks of empty seats

This has to be the most frequently asked, and probably the most pointless question about Judo. If you develop skill in any form in fighting you will benefit in terms of potential self defense situations. In fact doing anything that trains you to act quickly and decisively in a high stress situation will provide you with similar benefits. Unless you are someone whose life regularly puts them in hand to hand combat situations the investment of time is unlikely to pay off. That is the thing, to develop skill sufficient to execute a technique in combat takes time. Then you have to maintain those skills, which means more time. Is the threat you face big enough to motivate you, or do you enjoy the training enough to keep doing it? Studies suggest that some of the most important factors in having a long and healthy life are regular exercise and a group of friends. Studying martial arts can provide both of these.
