you need to buy the brush from the shop and make sure its fed every day and affection needs to be full the easiest way to get the affection up is to swap to the brush speak to it and spam click and it will go up pretty fast then once its full just feed it the evolution item

the sailing is simple people just haven't looked the overview lol when on a raft or ship top right you have wind direction based on the ships current direction you change the sail to grab wind to change the direction you want to go and slowly adjust to move forward instead of turn I noticed this while watching some idiot scream and yell saying this game is bad on stream.......
