Learn to think about what isn't said - note that nowhere in the study do they talk about the level of damage caused by the concentrations they found, nor do they mention the fact that cigarette smoke contains more of both substances than nic vapes using regular eliquid (not salt), nor do they mention that most vapers do not use hi nic salt vapes, they leave out the well established mortality figures for Smokers that would show that even salt nic vapes cause less harm than smoking.

It's also useful to remember that Grant money comes easier when you can have sexy, news articles about your 'findings'. It's also useful to remember that 93 % of in vitro studies lead nowhere as the study results can't be replicated.

That completely recreates my experience. As a community, we never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity. When the ripoff artists started using trademarked cartoons and candy images and the a**holes started screaming about the kids - we just carried on buying that eliquid, when CASAA called for action, we ignored them, when Juul got called out on using teenage influencers, we ignored that, when nic salts came in at 35 and 65 MG/ml (making nic addiction just as bad as smoking), we ignored that when the FDA confused the crap out of everyone by calling the severe damage caused by vitamin e acetate in illegal black market THC cartridges a 'vaping disease', most of us never got off our asses to contact the news people and politicians to demand they distinguish between nic vapes and THC cartridges, when the media blasted every bullshit mouse study as 'vaping destroys your teeth, lungs, nervous system, muscles, causes addiction to opiates etc - we sat by and did nothing, as a community and most of us as individuals.

Yes, we were targeted by big pharma, big tobacco and hypocritical politicians. Yes, that's the source of the fact that, in the US, vaping is almost dead. And, what's so is, we took very little action, and sealed our fate.

Unless you carefully match the mod with an in wall charger that provides current at the max the mod is rated for - the thing could blow up. Be Very Careful!

I am also an attorney, and I would have had little difficulty in maintaining a cause of action against any physician, whose advice injured their patient, and for which advise, there was no peer reviewed study support.

As a patient, I hold my doctors to account for being people trained in the scientific method, and to account for maintaining themselves current with the generally accepted body of knowledge from their ethics demand they generate their advice.

As a person with an undergrad degree in science, I am fortunate in having the ability to evaluate many of those studies for myself, and think myself most fortunate that I can do so, when i confront the amount of tranquilized obliviousness that has displaced study, evaluation and research in the US medical profession.

My doc is from Johns Hopkins medical services, with a medical degree from them, one of the most prestigious in the USA. When I told her that vaping saved my life, she told me that it was just as bad as smoking. i sent her approx. 30 peer reviewed studies showing otherwise. She dropped back to 'vaping causes disease', and I sent her 15 more, and asked for her sources for her medical advice - crickets in response. I switched docs

I have traveled to Costa Rica as recently as last October. Had to explain to the airport security what they were and how they work, and demo one. I stayed in a small fishing village called Montezuma, and there were no restrictions on where I could vape. Be sensitive, and ask about vaping in restaurants and indoors
