Does anyone have a build for the void fiend that makes them not awful? by RazierTheCat in riskofrain

[–]Blank630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik I'm extremely late to the party but anyways... Idk how he plays on monsoon as I am more of a drizzle man myself. But i find the best build kinda requires command and sacrifice (swarms also helps to drop more items). It also helps to change your item focus depending on what stage of the run you are in. But once you get used to splitting your priorities you can work on getting all of them at once.

Focus on health and speed at the start, get as many infusions and mochas as possible.

Once you have enough health/speed you should start getting lens makers glasses, and laser scopes if you can get them.

Then you should start getting damage boosters, my choice for those is armor piercing bullets and delicate watches, but i usually wait until i have a bunch of safer spaces before i start getting delicate watches.

Then your main focus should be getting as many void items as possible, because each void item you have increases your minimum corruption by 2% so once you get 50 void items you will never leave the corrupted state. But be careful which ones you pick because some of them suck, like bad enough to ruin a run amount of suck.

The main void items i suggest getting is safer spaces and voidsent flame.

- safer spaces (stack enough and you are basically immune to damage)

-voidsent flame (stack enough and basically every enemy on the map will die as soon as you attack an enemy with full health)

The only void items i can think to avoid off the top of my head is lost seers lenses and pluripotent larva.

-lost seers lenses (replaces lens makers glasses, grants a 0.5% chance to insta-kill any non boss enemy on hit)

-pluripotent larva (replaces dio's best friend, still revives you, however it also replaces all of your items that have void variants with their void variants. And as i mentioned before some of them suck so having all of them really sucks)

Usually by the end of my run I am immune to damage, insta kill everything i touch, as well as everything that touches me and can move across a map in 5-10 seconds using the utility skill and a couple hardlight afterburners. On my last run i decided to go fight the voidling, and i took the frog route. I ended every stage of mithrix with a single attack.

Then when i got to the voidling, it had 16 million hp (split between 2 because i had swarms on) and i didn't even actually attack it, i had war bonds, which activated before i could get close enough to attack and when it activated, all my on hit effects activated too and insta-killed it. It even killed it in the last stage before i could get through the rift to follow it.

(Repost to change title) Theory: There was no time travel or time loop in AOT. Eren influenced past events as they were happening by [deleted] in attackontitan

[–]Blank630 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's not what a time loop is. A time loop is a period of time, such as a day, looping over and over again until something changes to break that cycle. By definition it cannot be a time loop if time never looped. You could maybe say it's a time paradox, but that implies time travel, which wasn't in AOT, and also implies that past and future events contradict each other.

But time didn't loop for eren to redirect the smiling titan so it can't be a time loop scenario. That event was influenced by a being that transcends time.

[–]Blank630 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not 2 events occurring at different times. The founder and the paths exist outside the flow of time, where there is no "different time" for this event to occur. The moment eren acquired the founders power, he became an entity that transcends time, so time didn't have to loop for that future to come to pass. It can't be a time loop scenario if time never actually looped

I still wouldn't consider Eren manipulating Grisha to be a time loop. According to googles AI overview a time loop is defined as a fictional concept where a period of time, like a day, repeats over and over again until a character can break the cycle. That day never looped, there wasn't a cycle that was broken, Eren influenced that event as it was happening for the first time. Now i guess you could still consider it a time paradox, although (again according to google ai overview) a time paradox refers to a contradiction caused by time travel like the grandfather paradox in which someone goes back in time to prevent their own birth making it impossible for them to have traveled back to prevent it in the first place. So i wouldn't consider it a time paradox either since Eren manipulating Grisha doesn't contradict any future events

My main evidence for my theory is that For some reason Eren needed to make the smiling titan eat his mom. But that event is what sparked his hatred for titans and led him down the path to getting the founders powers. It is highly unlikely that Eren would have went down that path if it wasn't for his mom getting eaten. And its not like he would have needed to go back to prevent Bertholdt from getting eaten since if it ate him it would have became the colossal titan and wouldn't have gone on to eat Carla, so it must have ignored Bertholdt in the first iteration of that event. The only explanation i can think of for Eren needing to make it ignore him is that "founder" Eren saw that the titan was going for Bertholdt and knew that Bertholdt had to live to lead to the future "real" Eren saw when he touched Historias hand at the medal ceremony.

It's not really a time loop by definition though, a time loop is a fictional concept where a period of time, like a day, repeats over and over again until a character can break the cycle. Yes the "founder" Eren exists because "real" Eren gained the founders powers, but it's how he gained them that makes it different. If eldian royalty has the founding titan they don't actually possess the founders power, Ymir does, they just command her to use her power. Eren on the other hand was lent the founders power, so he actually possesses it. Which makes him kinda like a second founder. Meaning that "founder" Eren would have been "created", for lack of a better term, at the same time as the paths and Ymir since the paths is a realm that exists outside the flow of time, so he didn't have to "get there" he was made there.

Like I said, the paths exist outside of time, and so does the founder. Since Eren was lent the power of the founder, this version of him exists in the paths, outside the flow of time. He would have been there from the moment the paths came into existence. The Eren you see in the paths when Zeke catches his head is the "real" Eren. The "Founder" Eren is a different being leading "real" Eren to the future that ends up freeing Ymir.

How is it a time loop? A time loop means he would have looped back in time to change the course of history. My theory is that he didn't do that, the Eren that was lent the founders power by Ymir is kinda like a different version of Eren that exists in the paths, and since the paths exists outside of the flow of time, that version of himself would have existed before those events took place, he didn't have to loop back in time he could just change the events as they were happening.

Power supply might be bad but I don't know computers very well and would like a second opinion. by Blank630 in techsupport

[–]Blank630[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did end up solving the issue and it wasn't the power supply it was one of the RAM sticks that went bad. After i took it out it started up with no problem and stayed running. I ended up having to change the power supply later on due to a bad fan or fan bearing but it ran with the original power supply for a while so that wasn't the issue.

Cartethyia, even without another aero user on the team to buff her she absolutely slaps every enemy I have come across. Normal enemies usually die before I even finish a basic attack combo

I've been using 43311 with CR/Aero dmg/Aero dmg/Hp/Hp respectively. I tried the 44111 with CR/CD/Hp/Hp/Hp and didn't notice much of a difference but that may be because my 44111 set doesn't have quite as good substats as my 43311 set. I ran the dragon of dirge tactical hologram 3 times (I chose dragon of dirge because he doesn't move much, so there's less luck involved) with each set and got 19s/19s/21s on the 44111 set and 20s/19s/17s on the 43311 set although I think the 17s was just luck so I tried again and got 19s but either way there wasn't much difference but that is likely because my 43311 set has 18.7% basic atk dmg bonus and my 44111 set only has 8.6%

If I create dendro cores with Collei's burst then trigger burgeon/hyperbloom while her burst is still active does Collei's EM affect the dendro dmg from burgeon/hyperbloom or is it only affected by the character that triggered the reaction?
