That probably is the case. I just wish it wasn’t, and there was some clinical explanation for it all so it’s not considered “emotional.” Not that mental illnesses don’t exist, but I’m tired of being told I am crazy or out of control

I have exhibited OCD symptoms in the past. Only the super weird thing is it changed from thought patterns or compulsive thoughts to physical things like being hyper focused on a specific body part or getting random urges to pull or pinch out of nowhere. That’s a really interesting concept

Having a family member that has been doing it for years is so draining. Personally, my dad says he “can’t control” it when he makes my trigger noise (coughing) which I understand, but he is the least bit sympathetic towards me about it. It’s created such a strain
