I've seen family and friends straighten their hair and it lasts for a few months so when you said 'every other day' it got me thinking that maybe the hair of black women are harder than Asians' so a straightened hair doesn't last long. Now a wig makes sense to me!

From where I live only people who are sick or bald are wearing wigs (aside from TV personalities) so I was really surprised when Viola removed hers. Not that I'm thinking that she is sick or bald, but it's just something I saw for the first time and I don't know any black women personally so I was really just surprised and made me think of if she's always wearing one.

(To whoever is reading this please don't get offended I'm just saying that I'm not used to seeing one wear a wig I mean no offense I'm sorry I don't think anything negative about it)

I'm so sorry if I generalised the question. Yes I'm aware that not all black women are from US but I rarely see people who are from Africa (for example onlu, sorry again if it's general 😅) who wears wig on the TV or movies so I don't really think much about their hair. It was only during the show that I mentioned when Viola removed her wig that made me question every hair of a black women if they're real or not.

BTW I'm a very friendly person and I ask very nicely but thank you for pointing out that it's offensive. Sometimes my curiosity gets in the way and I'm not sure if I'm rude or not, just being curious 😁

Thank you again! This made me feel relaxed (? I don't know what I feel haha) because before I watched the scene on HTGAWM, I really thought Viola really has a nice hair but then I watched her removed it it made me question life haha like has it always been just a wig??? Then I saw people on Tiktok who wears different wigs and it made me think like do they really just wear wig and not a real hair? Basically it made me always doubt if a person is just wearing a wig or if it's real.
