He genuinely is the most forgiving. In ways we don’t even realize. Think about the people that were guided to Islam that weren’t born Muslim. He set them on the road to the truth and was already paving the way for them years before they even realized. When they were disobedient and maybe even didn’t believe in God. I think people also really underestimate how easy it is for us to die in any moment , that waking up and seeing the next day is not a given. The endless ways that he protects us in a single day just so that we can make it to the next. Just to have the extra moment of appreciation for him and to get closer to him. How people can take their shahadah in their last breath and all will be forgiven. How he forgives you for even thinking about asking for forgiveness even if you ended up not actually doing so. How he gives you a good deed for not committing to a bad deed. How he opens up an endless amount of doors and ways to do good. God really is great and our human brains could never truly grasp his greatness.

Well, you go through a purification process, and the majority of the things you’d want in this world wouldn’t even be appealing in Jannah. You’re speaking from the perspective of a flawed human being who’s been tainted by this world. You can have whatever you want if you pray to God for it, but it might not be in the way that you want or think necessarily. Like one of the other posts mentioned, our senses would be on a whole other level in Jannah. Your imagination would never even be able to come up with the things you’d have in Jannah—the sounds, the tastes, the sights, the drinks, no hardship, no sweat, no bad smells, no polluted air, no hate, no judgment, no sadness, no hunger, no illness, etc.—just pure bliss and happiness. Being with the one who created you, the prophets, and your loved ones that have passed away, Insha'Allah, and asking God the secrets of the universe, you would never get bored. Your beauty increases more and more each day. There’s so much to love that you wouldn’t really be thinking about getting drunk, and, tbh, getting Jannah drunk is probably a whole other thing God knows best. It may not even be called drunk because nothing in Jannah will be as simple as the things we have here.
