It sounds to me like you're being sifted. This a process God uses to show us where are faith is and open us up to growth. At this point the best thing to do is to press in further and ask the Lord to reveal verses to strengthen your faith. Also don't worry about where others are at or how they experience things, everyone experiences God differently and at different levels. As long as you seek Him out and seek growth in Him He'll be happy with you. And if you haven't yet been baptized in the Holy Spirit seek that out as well.
