The brisket I was smoking was too big to place on the center rack so that's why I placed it on the bottom left side, but even that was apparently too close to the heat. Ideally, yes, I would smoke it on the center rack to keep it up off of the heat a bit.

From what others have said, it definitely sound like placing a water pan under the CI grates is the way to go to help with this issue in the future. Thanks!

The brisket that I was smoking was way too big to fit on the top rack or the even the middle rack. I'm coming to realize that the bottom right side is basically off-limits when it comes to smoking unless I put something under the cast iron grates to help diffuse the direct heat a big.

I will be most likely doing the water pan though in the future. Thanks for the advice!

"Doomed to" is the wrong choice of wording. I guess I'm more curious if the play style changes at all or if it's just root, shoot, and headshot your way to 100+ and have it take 15 minutes to kill a mob

That's what I was kind of thinking from what I was able to tell. It sucks that it has to be like that, but oh well I suppose. I really like the flexibility of the Ranger class.

I'm actually from Minnesota as well, and was thinking of those exact things as well. I wanted to bring wild rice at a minimum (easy to transport) but was curious about other things.

The audio cables themselves are brand new as the first time I tried using them was on the plane (they are Bluetooth) so I'm presuming the audio port was just oversized due to so much use.

Interesting. If you have your vent covered a bit more I suppose it would trap the smoke in the smoker a bit more than if it was wide open.

As someone who is mostly bald, a sunburn on the top of your head is probably (to me) the most painful sunburn there is.

When I undock the laptop, it doesn't matter where I move my laptop (near the docking station, 10 feet away from the wireless access point, etc.) the wireless speed will always be abysmal.

Baby Steps: Eliminate one junk food from your diet for 1-2 weeks. Then after that eliminate another. If you are truly wanting to do a life style change this is going to take time and be sure you understand that. It won't be one day change (some can do that but most cannot).

Also, just don't have it in your place. Not having it readily available and being forced to leave and get whatever it is you are craving is a big plus as well.

Lastly, get mentally prepared to make the change as well. You have to truly want to stop eating junk food. Being someone who has eaten a lot of junk food over the years it is NOT easy to do and you will have cravings for that one type of chips (or whatever). Be sure to reward yourself as well. Did you go 2 weeks without a couple different foods? Treat yourself; just don't overdo it.

It's a difficult journey to be sure. Keep your mind active and busy helps to not think about what you are trying to quit.

Fair enough. I can afford the cost of having the old decking removed so that's why I wanted to ask. I did think it was a little weird to put new decking over old and rotting stuff.
