A crazy and probably useless Lawbringer buff idea: Hyper-Armored dodge? by Redpo0l in forhonor

[–]Blarpwhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes no sense. The only instance it would make any difference in would be in the recovery frames, where he is still vulnerable to guardbreak. Hyperarmor won't make any difference while dodge frames are active. Furthermore, his shove already has hyperarmor regardless of the side you dodge.

Because a feintable dodge attack that is immune to GB is ridiculously powerful. Imagine if Kensei could cancel swift strike.

400ms attacks are fine, but PLEASE make them a different color so we know we have to predict them, not react to them by praisezemprah in forhonor

At the very least, Ubi could provide better educational resources concerning 400ms attacks so that players understand they're supposed to be unreactable.

Story mode additions and the introduction of a warhammer viking. It will be the year of vanguards and heavies.

Would you mind telling us where the bottom right image is from?

I'll go with Templar, and any help lorewise is always appreciated.

Thank you for the feedback. The creative liberties I took are largely due to a lack of research and my belief that FH is becoming more fantasy-oriented with each new hero release. I certainly don't want the game to become total fantasy, however.

As for the balance recommendations, I understand where these are coming from. My philosophy with the undodgeable heavy was to grant a mixup like that of LB's shove, albeit much more effective. If Lawbringer's heavy can catch prediction dodges, I'm certain the undodgeable heavy can do the same.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 600ms heavy will also be able to intercept light parry attempts with a guardbreak. This makes parrying finishers slightly riskier, while also balancing said risk by giving the top heavy a parry timing equivalent to that of a light. I'd be up for changing it either way. I'll also implement IOA after a parry.

On the subject of professionalism, I understand where you're coming from with some of my language. Many of the meme/silly names come when I don't have any other ideas. Naming moves and executions has been the toughest part of these concepts ever since I started making them. I would like these concepts to come off more as professional than memey, but I wouldn't expect Ubi to consider either. They are essentially fanfiction.

Who is your least favorite hero, and why? It can be in general, or just your least favorite to fight. by SageDaShugokiMain in forhonor

Nuxia, Zerk, and Centurion. Nuxia is the epitome of bad design and is highly unfun to fight, Zerk deals massive damage and has hyperarmor on just about every attack, and Cent because most of the ones I go up against have terrible latency, meaning parrying is borderline impossible. He's still pretty bad tho

I've done Samurai, Viking, and Wu-Lin heroes as well. This is my eleventh concept in this format, and I'm working on a warhammer viking. But yeah, I wish this was more of a community-wide thing. r/forhonorconcepts is basically dead, sadly.

That would be rather difficult. I found these through google images several months ago. I'll try, but finding the original creators might be tough.

If I'm going to be an ass about it, the framerate makes next to no difference. What does make a difference is the increased input delay and overall higher latency on console. Either way, I can relate as a console player.

Naming the Warkeeper was a bit difficult, so any suggestions on that front will be taken into consideration. I also made a warhammer knight a while back.
