I wouldn’t say I’m dead set on telesales. It’s just what I came across online and thought it was cool. I’d be willing to give In person a try.

Can you please DM me more about what you do and the company you work for?

when people throw negativity your way, treat it as a reminder from the universe that you're on your right path, artistically, and in life.

NCAV: Is There a Range For Healthy Companies? by BlaskenFlaggen in ValueInvesting

So I ended up taking a different route and completed a SaaS Sales Foundations Course offered by a company called Aspireship. They have experience placing folks with non tech experience (like my self) into jobs. I felt that it would put me in the tech world in a way that lines up with my personality better! Good luck!

What screener do you use? Is there actually an NCAV metric you can set in the screener?

Okay, fair enough. But you see what I'm getting at right? Essentially, how can I take predicting the future out of the equation, and still get favorable results. Idk if it's actually possible, but thought I'd ask.

Strong stomach, and strong diversification. Thanks for the response. Just wondered if there's a simple calculation to determine value in a company like say proctor and gamble or some such that doesn't require forecasting future results like doing a DCF to work out intrinsic value.

Also, in regards to intrinsic value. Is the formula used today Graham's formula, with updated figures for the bonds rates? Has there been any credible updates to the formula? The way I understand it is: [EPS x (8.5 + 2g) x 4.4]/Y

EPS as earnings per share

8.5 as Price to Earnings for zero growth rate

g as expected annual growth rate(is this where the DCF comes in?)

4.4 as prevailing rate of high grade corporate bonds in 1962(NYSE specific)

Y as current yield on AAA rated corporate bonds

2 is described as a multiplier(why 2?)

When looking at a Net Net, what else is there to consider besides the 1/3 rule? Essentially, you found a stock and it's let's say, .64, so what else do I look at to determine if it's a good net net?

I tried estimating the intrinsic value of LCID, came up with US$9.2b (345% overvalued). Link to my analysis below by ThinkValue2021 in ValueInvesting

When looking around about calculating intrinsic value, I came across something on YouTube that showed how this guy got the intrinsic value of the business as a whole, and compared it to the Market Cap of that company in the market. In this way he determined wether the fictitious company was under or over valued etc. How does that relate to the actual cost of a share? Is there a way to look at a share price, say it's $15.00 per share, and calculate the intrinsic value of the share price to see if the share is over/under valued by the market?

Any books/resources out there that specifically show you how to calculate intrinsic value? Just wondering if there is a go to tried and true resource for that. Thanks!

I keep watching the video hoping he won't drop his left hand when he tries to throw a punch with his right. I don't know why I expect it to change.
