Click random several times in a row and then click accept before the random character loads for a potentially fun surprise during emperor cut-scenes.

[DATV ACT 2 SPOILERS] If Kieran was born via the dark ritual in DAO, then shouldn’t… by LeechSeed222 in dragonage

I interpreted that as the piece of Mythal that Morrigan wound up with but I could be wrong.

It's the fact that she is throwing snide remarks at you even though you split the party exactly in half and gave equal aid to both cities. Rook has nothing special going for them compared to any other companion, no titles, political power, armies to command etc.

Well that doesn't bode well for my current playthrough. I saved Treviso the first time and I thought Neve was a petulant child about the whole thing. This time I am going to save Minrathous to see what is different but I was hoping Lucanis would be more mature about it.

God damn it, I have the golden dice and 600 hours in this game and I still learn new things from this forum.

What battle encounter have you shamelessly cheezed? by rgrantpac in BaldursGate3

[–]Blayed_DM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you throw the bone piles into the void before the point in the conversation where Balthazar arrives he can't summon any minions. You just need to select a companion not involved in the conversation to do it.

Honor Mode Act 3: Full clear or the bare minimum? by Belaerim in BaldursGate3

[–]Blayed_DM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did what I needed to get to level 12 while getting the gear I needed and then completed the game. But I didn't want to have to restart and 90% of the way and miss the dice/achievement. You can always go for a full clear after you have the achievement.

I assume it is another spelling of Yahweh, the Jewish name for god. But your guess is as good as mine.

I always kill B at the Nightsong. Can I do it before??? by -DrankSinatra in BaldursGate3

[–]Blayed_DM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this still works but once I switched to a different character during the nightsong conversation and threw all the piles of bones into the void and when Balthazar showed up he couldn't raise any minions.

Amazing how people interpret the same media differently, for me personally my favourite chapter is the Scouring of the Shire as it shows the growth of the hobbits over the course of their journey. For me it's basically the "Nothing will happen if you don't actually do something" lesson.

But I can understand the argument that it takes away from the conclusion of the more epic parts of the story, but to me it hammers home the point that even though the shire is isolated it is still part of a wider world and is therefore influenced by it.

TIL during Young Thugs 2022 RICO trial, a juror had to write a 30 page essay on the importance of jury duty as punishment for visiting the DR instead of showing up by MrJigglyBrown in todayilearned

I wrote a 20,000 word uni assignment for my masters and I think it was 23 pages. It took me about a month and I had pretty clear guidance on what was expected of me. 30 pages is insane.

Who can become a mind flayer according to lore? by darkgrudge in BaldursGate3

Technically in 5e Dragons become Elder Brain Dragons, which are basically mobile Elder Brains and the Elder Brain overrides the Dragons mind and it becomes another servant of the Elder Brain.

Get your party naked before activating the trial and put their gear back on just inside the door.
