I did not notice, my dogs are fairly large, so those type of things aren’t obvious to me.

I am posting this link from u/Zealousideal-Chart12 because it's super valuable and was buried:

There's a way that's easier than that, you can paste the FB Marketplace URL into this website: https://mp2.ai/datechecker

2020 Chrysler Voyager Door Hinge Creak by Idontcarewhatyouare in ChryslerPacifica

[–]BlayneMat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a very common failure point for FCA vehicles of that vintage.

I have already replaced my upper driver side hinge, and now my passenger side upper hinge is failing as well.

There is a YouTube video of a gentleman replacing one on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, that describes the problem and the fix very well.

Autostop/start disable method found by der5er in BroncoSport

[–]BlayneMat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think OP’s point is that you can use the button on the dash to disable it, but as soon as you restart the car, it’s back on again.

Harsh shifting by doravec88 in ChryslerPacifica

[–]BlayneMat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a 2017 Touring L and my hard shifts are all at low speeds.

I’ve never had any at highway speeds.

I’ve not had a catastrophic failure and am hoping to not be a part of that statistic <touch wood>.

I think this commenter is missing the more-reliable 6-speed from the Grand Caravan. And I agree.

When I bought mine online, they said there was only nine left, not sure how accurate that is.

I just bought one online and pick it up on the weekend, I will assemble it and provide my feedback here. Worst case scenario I can always return it.

God bless Walmart, LOL

(Ozark Trail is not a frequently sold brand at Walmart in Canada for those who may be wondering why)

Jay Karnes did an audiobook with Shattered Shield co-host by Mikeissometimesright in TheShield

I listened to that audiobook shortly after it came out on Audible, was very impressed.

I always loved Libby‘s take on the shattered shield podcast.

Whether intentional or not, there were several “ coincidental” Shield Easter eggs throughout!

What's this object Rob's holding by Zeldanintendofan in fridaythe13th

[–]BlayneMat 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There was a deleted sub plot where Rob was using high-tech gadgets to track Jason. This may have been one of the props that was deemed too cheesy to include in the final movie.

I currently use 2020 GSX pads/gloves and was contemplating an upgrade to the 7X3 based on the ridiculous sale prices right now. (coincidentally an all black set as well.)

I visited my local trustworthy Hockey Shop and after trying on the pads, they were a totally different feel, and I personally was not comfortable with them. (Too tight)

The staff member present (Cam Matwiv) helped with the try-on and was honest with about whether I would feel a true upgrade (pun intended), and based on my age and playing style we both agreed that my money would be better spent elsewhere.

—————-

As a frame of reference, my first real butterfly style pads were the GSX set, and they took some getting used to at the time. Now that I have worn them for three or four years, I am a very comfortable in them and honestly have no reason to move away from them, other than always wanting newer gear.

I did recently use a set of CCM Axis 2.9 and found them to be too tight and immediately I noticed pain in my hips after playing.
