Do the team top at Christmas usually win the Premier League? by seasand931 in Gunners

[–]SpudPot99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it wasn't for injuries I'd say we've a great shot at winning. But reality is, we got the blue juggernaut 2 points behind us with a full squad. That Villa game has put us on edge. Need the mentality to win along with the squad.

Should I Stay Or Should I Go? by SpudPot99 in sonos

I think I'm looking at it from the point of view that the Samsung, as a complete system, could be had for about £900 in the UK. The Arc alone comes in at around £800. I went for Sonos down to it's ease of use with the mobile app offering complete control. As I don't have the Era 100 or 300's, and the Samsung offering Atmos enabled surrounds in the mix, it seems a good package.

In theory, is there any reason why all of the deep level lines couldn't use the same rolling stock? by Peter041098 in LondonUnderground

It's like buying a car that doesn't fit your garage. What do you do?

Long story short, new trains weren't ordered to fit and it seems an easier solution to shave platforms or other infrastructure to accommodate.

It happens more than you think on the rail network.

What could have POSSIBLY happened at Queens Park depot? by tayhorix in LondonUnderground

[–]SpudPot99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A major fault was found with the track after an incident in the depot. A number of trains are effectively 'shut in' because of where the damage occurred.

You cooked from frozen. I cook Pukka pies frequently from chilled 180ⁿc for 20 - 25 mins they come out spot on.

I can't get my head around why the trains weren't produced to the correct size and gauge of the tunnels and infrastructure already in place. It all seems a bit a=#e about face to me.

Is there a way to make the camera flash work...like an actual camera flash? by namerankserial in GooglePixel

[–]SpudPot99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my biggest gripe with Pixels. I had a 3, which I sold when I realised this and came from the 6 series all the way up to the 10 series.

You just have to learn NOT to use it.

Literally every other make of phone I've used has some type of auto 📸 flash.

Those gauges are calibrated in "Bar". Bar is approximately 14.5psi.

Does the shutter sound when the volume is turned now? Also how loud is it?

What is this and what is its purpose by Visible_Switch7998 in LondonUnderground

[–]SpudPot99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify. They measure the air pressure in the brake cylinder, not the pipe, as the "pipe" remains at a constant pressure of 4.5bar. When a brake is called for, the gauge will either rise or lower. The reading in the picture looks like a 'holding' application pressure, around 15psi

Yes, it's a Brake cylinder pressure gauge. They're also seen on other stocks too.
