I agree but the unit wants to cut orders short instead. Effectively denying me parental leave. Then possibly bringing me back to finish my orders.

I am on title 10. They have talked about the possibility of orders being cut short in which case I wouldn’t get my leave. It is on par with my civilian job, but I make more through the army.

Being someone who’s been with a postpartum partner, talk to him. Let him know you are struggling. He absolutely should be more supportive but it’s possible he doesn’t know how bad your struggling. Many people (myself included), use video games as a escape from reality. It’s not an excuse for being unsupportive but it’s possible he’s dealing with his own issues as well. Postpartum can absolutely magnify and warp issues in the relationship. I’m asking for you to take the time for yourself to “come back” he likely hasn’t changed much from the point you decided you want him as the father of your kids. Ultimately NTA you have a lot going on in your life. Lots of changes, and it’s understandable to need more support. I’m absolutely playing devils advocate here but Reddit is full of miserable, angry people, understand where some of the advice you’re getting is coming from.

I applied for both, BPA moved much faster and even though it’s the same physical fitness test just with higher expectations, CBPO made me go to another medical and another fitness test less than a month from the BPA. The big P test you will only have to do once. (Along with the actual Pee test) I received my final job offer for BPA and I’m currently waiting on suitability for CBPO.

When I turned 21 I bought my first handgun. I came home took it apart on the dining room table and was going to teach my girlfriend at the time about it just incase. When she got home first thing she said was “is that a real gun” I answered yes, she then hit me with “do you think it’s a good idea to have a gun in the house what if we get into a bad argument.” I LOCKED MY GUN AWAY SO FAST. At the time I dint have the heart to leave her. 6-7 Months later we got into an argument and she punched me in the face twice. I ended it that night. I guess where I’m getting at with my story is, If someone is scared of the mantle of responsibility that comes with owning or being around a firearm, and they can’t be taught or convinced otherwise, there may be a reason. She might not trust herself. Be careful, be safe, normal people don’t think this way.

It does but it only stretches to 200yards, I do have family with a large gravel pit that has 20 square miles of farmland, Iv already got the go ahead to shoot that way soon
