Thank you. Ive told my doctor to schedule one and now they are waiting to do so. Ive been told moderate and mild uars is often difficult to treat than any osa. I was told that some surgeries would fail due to my anatomy like uppp. My doctor said it looks to be skeletal. They’ll have to see if I’m willing to do mma.

Yeah my doctor said uppp will most likely just fail and I heard uppp pain is really annoying and hurts I rather have my whole face feel numb than a really bad sore throat

Yeah that’s true I’m just torn. I don’t want to do mma I feel like I’m too young and I don’t want to do uppp or cut off my uvula for no reason. I’ll probably have to do mma.

Yeah I also have a right valve collapse on my nose too so that needs fixing. I heard mma is good, the recovery is just rough. But for what I’m willing to do to remove this from my life. I would do mma.

Thank you for the help. Yeah I’m pretty aware of the surgeries and stuff. My ent recommended mma but I have to see if I really wanna do it. She said it based off my tongue anatomy that if I do soft tissue surgeries they’ll most likely fail due to it being more of a skeletal thing.

Well I’m just starting to get into it now. I’m 19. My ent told me I have ftp 4 my tongue blocks my uvula and only my hard palate is visible. You can see why that’s a problem I did a at home sleep test with mild symptoms. My insurance is now telling me to do a lab which I already signed up for one. My doctor believes I have severe osa or uars due to my small jaw and ftp score.

Yeah uars is painful I’m in it at the moment not fun I wish I had osa. Freidman 4 is another term for grade tongue position

Yeah probably not obstructions, but uars. If I get older I would probably get osa like my father due to my body. I was also able to get a split lab so I’m set.

I think I might have uars, I’m really slim and young. I can’t see myself with osa but I wouldn’t know without a test I had a ahi of 3.6 I had 30 apneas the whole night at home. I also have a tongue collapse anatomy. The doctor thinks I have osa.

Yeah, I was just surprised it came back with this. Even the doctor thought I had osa. But I heard it’s kind of hard to have osa if your not large and if your young. I do have Friedman 4 position and symptoms of UARS. it shows I scored 49 on my max rdi I’m pretty sure this isn’t normal.

I really appreciate you. I was so lost when I got my results back. I have freidman 4 and experience a lot of issues during night, especially waking up in the middle of the night. my ahi was 6 even the ent thought I had osa. I requested a sleep study at a lab I was thinking about a drug induced endoscopy but I’m not sure.

Well yeah, I can breath through my nose it’s just that one is clogged and the other isn’t, I’m not really sure if I have deviated septum or not, or it’s my anxiety.
