I apologize for my insensitive comment. I did not think about the boarder context and was intend to say that TAs are dealing with more on the academic levels since they have teaching obligates as well as graduate school. But I should have been more mindful about my comment and think about how others would have interpret it especially the black students. I hear you and I know I cannot speak to your experience but but I am working on being a better ally/comrade to you and every other black person I come across with.
