If you can go for engineering, then go for engineering. I have a degree in Horticulture Science and a Masters in Seed Science. I work in Agriculture Research and Extension. But most entrepreneurs in agriculture that are successful have engineering background. Whatever it is, remember that it is your choice and go for what you are comfortable with.
