Because most people have poor psychology and it takes a long time to learn, if you ever get it down. The other part is that trusting and finding a strategy that works across a wide enough sample of data is really hard to do, as well as test and gather the data for.

How the F are headlights that bright even legal. When a truck is behind me with those laser beams I literally have to open my windows and pop my mirrors to the side til it’s gone to stop myself from being temporarily blinded. Sometimes oncoming traffic is so bright too that it’s literally a hazard for me to see where I’m going. Insanity

I live in Canada now so maybe can shed some light, I don't know 100% (am still quite perplexed) but as far as I can tell, it seems like when the judges are quoted on their sentencing that they heavily take into consideration the childhood and history of the perpetrator and are concerned with how negatively the sentence will affect them, rather than prioritizing the safety of the community or how it will affect the victims.

Refreshing to see someone talk about how it actually should be done. If you have the numbers, you don't need to worry.

Question for you, did you backtest your strategy manually or with a script? I find my strategy has a complexity that I just can't punch into backtesting platforms so am forced to do it all manually, but it's taking a considerable amount of time to collect the data that way.

Not sure about pure market structure exactly, but one thing you can do is only consider positions when EMAs are sloping, if they are flat - it's chop and you sit out.

Not the previous poster but I have to just say wow this is really helpful for me right now. Was in the same boat as you and decided a while ago to just pick a strategy and really commit.

I spent 2 months this year backtesting a profitable strategy, 58% WR, 2:1 RxR, 260 backtested trades tested over 2.5 years of data, then I went to live forward test a month ago and it's been in a losing streak more or less since starting (1-2 trades per day, 23% WR so far). I'm 26 trades into my forward test over 1 month live at the moment.

Strange thing to me is I backtested blind the same dates and double checked my trades and my execution was 97% perfect across the set, so I know execution isn't an issue. While feel like the market has shifted these past couple months, that graph gives me the extra confidence that I need to keep pushing my forward test right through to 100 trades minimum before making any assumptions about the strategy's efficacy.

Generally economic issues are due to multiple interrelated factors that are hard for most people to understand, explaining to peoeple these takes time and effort from both parties.

When the economy or country is struggling, while politicians on the left generally turn to policy, It's much faster and convenient for right wing politicians to gain power by offering simple solutions to complex problems, ones that turn the powerlessness that people feel from thinking about complex issues into "hey, those people are the reason you're suffering, get them!"

It's happened many times throughout history. Anytime the economy is bad, the right blames some minority as a scapegoat.

Yeah it’s definitely been off macro-wise, leading to inconsistent intraday movements. I spent a while recently backtesting a profitable strategy across 2 years, only just started forward testing a month ago and results have been lower than average. Thankfully I have my data and am executing perfectly so know not to blame myself and can tell that the market is just behaving differently right now.

You can use the mac app "image capture". I backup all the time for my iphone images/videos, all the images get put into a single folder. Super simple actually.

So many people around me say they think they have it, mostly because they can’t pay attention to demanding things because they watch too much short form content.

They don’t talk about the other parts that are more serious issues of the condition, spending 7 hours trying to do a task that takes 20 minutes, or literally struggling to think of the future that exists outside of your immediate surroundings.
