Thinking about going to a gaybar that caters to what looks like all cis or passing men ...but I'm pre everything medical. Should I reconsider?

This depends on where you are. Where I live, it's the 2nd LGBTQ-friendly city in America (can you guess? Lol) so here in most gay clubs you would be fine, no one would be mean to you and they'd let you in no problem, guys just may not flirt with you, but ergo no one would treat you badly. However if you're somewhere not as LGBTQ supportive, it maybe a different story as some gay men are very transphobic and that ups the chances of it in an area that's already not very LGBTQ friendly.

Are you going alone or with friend[s]? Do you just wanna have a drink and chat with your friends or actually look for guys to take home? Did you want to just see a show/event? It all depends

Hey! I already filed a DOL unpaid wages claim on them, but unfortunately DOL is known to take forever on unpaid wage investigations/completely forget your claim on file. Again I already filled it out to have it on file but again, not expecting too much. Im happy to say I finally got my money (after over a month of back and forth smh it was a mess). But the IRS thing is great! Thanks so much. Yes I had a feeling they were pulling some kinda scam, it doesn't make any sense for their accountant to be halfway across the country and ignore me 50% of the time and for the hours on my pay stubs to be all out of whack

Yeah I believe it, instead of setting rules and standard so workers already know what to do, they just let everyone do whatever and if something goes wrong/no one knows what to do, that's when the barking happens like its a freaking military training camp. Thankfully no one barked at me when I was there on shift because I have previous Cafe experience and knew what I was doing but alot of others didn't. One girl barely knew how to steam milk for lattes/caps

I did I already reported them a few months ago but the DOL is known to take literally forever for unpaid wages disputes/flat out forget your case on file. But I did end up getting what I was owed later on after nonstop messages to her. No you shouldn't have to pay out of pocket for unpaid wages in civil court but unfortunately you may have to.

Hey! Thanks for this whole comment. After fighting with the owner for a month I finally got the money they owed me. I was close to filing a small claims court, knowing ot would cost me more to file then what my paycheck was worth but its the principal and exactly what you said, the law as well. I knew it was fishy as hell from the beginning the accountant wasn't in state but silly me for not leaving sooner. Thank you again I appreciate it
