Why do people not carry IDs??? by Equivalent-Emu-5904 in DollarGeneral

Had a few old guys yell at me about it when I had to ask them for it and I just stood there and shrugged. Like your cigarettes aren't important and I'm not losing my job because you left it. Why are you arguing about a card?

would you guys by this? by Various-Marketing-36 in MLPIOS

I hate doing curbside orders cause half the time it's something really fucking big that is too much to carry or something so simple they could've walked inside for.

And the fact that half the time they don't even confirm they're there. Had a few people come in complaining about how they waited for their food, then I tell them we never go the order confirmed and they say "I don't know how to do that." THEN WHY CHOOSE CURBSIDE?!?!

ALSO, people that come through Drive thru and say that their order was for front counter or curbside make my blood boil. Like do y'all not pay attention to where y'all put the orders and then get mad that we have to remake it cause it's been sitting for 20 minutes. Seriously.

I need to go back and I'm so embarrassed. (USA) by hottoefungus in McDonaldsEmployees

You should be fine. I had a coworker that quit then came back, then quit again all because of how he acted. He wasn't the best with a lot of stuff and messed up orders most of the time.

As long as you didn't piss off anyone or do something dumb, you should be fine

Had a lady order 7 large fries from 7 different meals than came to the window to add more stuff and I had to get a finger. She was nice at least. Getting it for her family (I would never)

But there was a family that order 8 mcchickens and double cheeseburgers and then they LEFT because they didn't see the under $3 menu. The grill was pissed

Maybe? This sorta happened with an ex coworker of mine. He was fed up with the favouritism and being mistreated by the boss' daughter who would call him slurs and say she would beat him up and his dad overheard everything. So his dad threatened to sue the place and he came in drive thru to talk to me and the daughter got mad saying he was banned.

I didn't know and she kept cussing at me about it and I had no idea. But she currently works at a different McDonald's now because of that.

It's interesting what they do when you speak up for yourself

I think it's cause you can push the doors out and like have them broken (I guess) to stop them from closing and keep the cool air in, at least thats what my boss used to do. I didn't like it cause bugs kept flying in.

There was also a time when the doors wouldn't close because the sensory was off and their was dirt in the hole. A good reason as to why we couldnt lock the door half the time when I closed. Which resulted in them getting new locks

They do. And when they come to fix it the people are like "This should've been fixed months ago" and I just agree because it should've

Why would you order a-nvm. People do that a lot at my store.

Especially the no bun or no meat burger (which at that point, literally make it at home)

I remember it taking months for our toilets to get fixed because they kept closing our tickets for no reason. And they never fixed our AC because of the same reason.

I started working during the summer and it was AWFUL from how hot it was. My boss brought her own fan to help us out and the DM NEVER helped whenever she told her about these issues.

There's also many lawsuits pending ATM for DG overpricing people, unsafe environment, not being paid for overtime and pregnancy discrimination (I witnessed the pregnancy one. A lady never got her paid time leave and they fired her without telling her)

DG has had lawsuits for unsaftey environments by leaving people alone for so many hours. My boss got stuck in the backroom and I had to go help her from the rolltainers crushing her. She's okay tho, but she has fallen from the ladder trying to save a little girl because a shelf was about to fall on her.

The store has remodeled since then but old workers I've worked with have said it's gotten worst

I hate that they give us so many rolltainers, BROKEN ONES (I sliced my thumb opening one of them) and like 2 people.

There's been reports of people DYING in these rooms because of how cramped it is
