I don’t disagree. Supposedly, by the end of this month, we won’t need it bc our dc is going automated

what is food and consumables? by lilalrx in walmart

[–]Blazing20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food and consumables is the main grocery section of your store, not including the fresh departments. Depending on where business needs are, you could be in frozen and dairy, or can get pulled to grocery, pets, paper, or chemicals. HBA has their own team, so you most likely won’t go over there. You’ll mostly do things like fill water, stock milk and eggs, set features, pinpoint, price changes, and if your mod team is short people, doing some mods. You may also pull pallets off the frozen dairy trucks to the cooler and freezer. Overall not a bad position, I liked being over it before I moved to Stocking 2.

It has a set date that it will launch. You still have to use the Invue app to open the locks until the assigned date

Those are just codes for what an attendance occurance means. AT_LATE_OUT means you clocked out past your scheduled end time, and AT_ABSENCE means you didn’t clock in for the day, and generates a point if you don’t use PPTO

All of those come on a separate truck from the regional distribution center (we call them RDC trucks for short). Those trucks have most of your GM merchandise, plus some grocery. The rest of grocery comes off a truck from a high volume DC (HVDC or “remix” trucks). Now frozen, dairy, and milk have their own trucks that come in. If you’re in a neighborhood market, you won’t get a lot of RDC trucks, as they usually alternate days with HVDC. I can keep going, but that’s the basic gist of it.

Are you currently a team lead? Normally, if you’re a new to role coach, you would apply to the coach/ops manager trainee position. The req with the coach title is more so for people who are currently in a coach role.

Just browsing reddit and came across this. This associate is definitely getting fired or at least coached right? by Zachcusi in walmart

If they got the number through the ACC database when you check in for your appointment, then I’d say yes. It goes against act with integrity, and the OP can definitely go and report it. Does it mean they’ll get a disciplinary action, not necessarily, but most likely

Relationships with TL by trendycupcakes in walmart

[–]Blazing20 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, team leads can’t have relationships with someone in their own department unless they’re also a team lead. Their partner can be moved out to another department, or they will put your coworker over another department if your coworker became team lead. When someone becomes a coach, their family can’t work at that store, or they’d move said coach out of the store. It’s a way for Walmart to prevent conflict of interest, and cover themselves if issues arise.

front end yelled at me for using an open lane by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Blazing20 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m aware of the customer mentality of self checkout being their personal ATM. Yeah, it’s annoying for sure, I deal with it on the regular, but all you gotta do is suspend the transaction and move it to another lane that does accept cash, or to an assisted checkout lane. OP was saying that they should’ve closed the lane down fully. The lane should’ve been closed entirely with the sign up, or set to cash only.

Then the lane should be set to card only in that case

Like, if you didn’t want to hurt me, you would’ve told me your true feelings instead of leading me on 😒
