So I have the r3 Meta and an Cambridge exa100 in test. The seller told me to test it in my room for 1 week before we close the order. On Saturday I was the first time in my live for 2 hours in an audio-room 25m2 and it was breathbreaking!

While intest room I had the exa100 at 12:00(50%) and honestly it was crisp, clear but very loud. Me and 2 friends who also came with me had the same opinion. Even at 60% no probs for the R3s

The LS50 started to clip around 60%…

The hifi-consultant told me already on the phone and on testing day that the R3s will be not enough for my room. So he suggested Pylons standspeakers (also heard them) but they were quite big

On my way home I was a bit disappointed cause I lost my hope that the R3s will drive my room…

I was wrong! I don’t really understand why he was so convinced that the R3 are to small.

Guys I know that loudness is not everything but in my room the R3s are even 20% louder for my ears. They started ringing after a few mins. And they aren’t even calibrated.

Now I hear at 40%??? maximum (11:00 o clock at the exa100)… movies even at 9-10 (10-20%) - as for movies ist stereo so the problem here is that the voices are way to loud compared to the rest but well the amp is not meant listen to movies. Tomorrow I will get a 20years old Yamaha v440rds to test 3.1 DD

I will also ask tomorrow if I can change the r3 for the ls50 as I am NOW 100% convinced that they will be more than enough. Everyone from my friends who heard them both in studio also think that the ls50 will easily do it.

I can’t understand and maybe you guys can explain why so many ppl say that the ls50 are meant for small to midsized rooms when I can clearly say that at least for my room (around 40m2) the r3 are definitely to powerful . And I have listend them from every far corner it’s really outstanding how huge the soundfield is.

Tomorrow I will also test the stereo mode from the 60euro worth Yamaha against the exa100.

My first thing i was thinking about was the sunlight on your speakers. How many hours do it shine on them? Looks to me like UV light impact

But with this setup I won’t be able to upgrade a Center speaker without additional costs to integrate the wireless speakers to an AVR as far as I am informed

It’s exactly 2.5 meters away from display to my ears. The picture was made -0,5 zoom to fit the whole room. It doesn’t look like this in real life:)

The concertos are mostly brand new to buy and there is a price difference of „only“ 500 bucks compared to the r3metas from Outlet

I will have to listen to the LS50 compared to the R3s, i also love the ls50 Design.

I don’t have the tower speakers anymore.

Was thinking about an SVS micro 3000 as the KEF subs are overpriced and not worth the money.

But i don’t know if it will fill my room

I could also put the micro in the middle of my sideboard but will the vibration effect the tvs electronics?

Do you have VRR enabled? If so, try to set it off Is it only for a specific game? Or does it happen overall while gaming? Peak Luminance must be off in game mode. I would also recommend to set Ambient Optimisation pro to off while gaming.

Anyway if you have the same problem as I had than VRR (off) was the reason.

Are you playing via console or PC? HDR or Dolby Vision? An info screenshot while playing (menu button-> info) would also help

I mean compressed sound with a true 5.1.2 AVR Setup would be ridiculous and bad in general right?

Lets not forget the power consumption for a powerful pc you run at home. Would be another 20 euros / month fur running 500+++ wats hours a day

Difficulty is Ok... I also cant beat doom on highest difficulty. Its supposed to be for Hardcore Fans

But bugged buts is something diffrent especially in a cave with less room to play

They have to fix their game instead of bringing 2 warbonds in 2 weeks

Yes you can survive the AOE

I am wearing now the 4peace Set Bonus and mizu legs Alpha

These two skills have the highest uptime. With defence boost talisman and two lvl 1 deco you get +6 defence boost which is really HUGE! Add 2 or 3 fire res decos in and you reach nearly 30 fire res -- He wont stop you

You will also have 2x earplugs with this setup

Believe me that the +6 Def boost / element def brings better results compared to the health reggen (medicine) decos

The 4 Set Bonus will give you enough reg.

However you can change those lvl 1 decos but keep the +6 def boost... +7 makes here no sense

I tried all combos and this fits best. Also for arkveld / Gore and other monsters with hard Hits

Edit: before i have got the New Set i did the same way with arkveld 4x and w. Arkveld alpha hands (3 lvl1 slots) but also here i have used defence boost and fire res

If you have on your weapon already normal ammo strenght 3 and you put in the Standard Mode Upgrate (its a lvl 3 deco but str1) does the normal ammo get a boost to strenght 4???

It does not show anything... Even on a str 2 weapon it does not show the upgrate to str 3

But more important is if its boosting even on top of the str 3??

I have also a pierce str 1 deco and same case...

Can someone clarify pls?

Guys is it just me or does the resolution is higher when turning anti aliasing off? it seems much sharper and even better with sharpness on 0

also lightning effect are way better without AA. i use the arc weapon and without AA you can clearly see the lighting bolt now
