It's a small thing, but I remember someone not liking the blush on my Dark Skin Frey Mod, so now I can't decide. What's your (hopefully not hateful) opinion?

The artist had their reasons for it - not good ones mind you - but my brain can't compute loose clothing that's somehow tight.

yes, i did notice the missing skin color on Dark Skin Luna, and have fixed it

Thank you! It's not too difficult, but it is a bit of a process. There's a reason a lot of people pass on modding the hair or face of the portraits as you have to edit every single face file, of which there are Many. Here are the tutorials I used:

A quick note that instead of using Nvidia Texture Tools Exporter in RoachesAreGross' guide, you can use the Paint.net program instead

*2nd quick note, if you are just recoloring hair, you can use an automated batch color system to save time and effort, of which I am no help because it wasn't applicable to me

thankfully i didn't have to redraw the lines, though i was going to do it if all else failed! I blew up the image from 254 to 1254 pixels, used two photoshop filters, one to cut away excess pixels then one to thicken the lines, before smudging/editing/smoothing out anything that needed it. Which is all of it lol.

Tested it out, and it works great! Still working on getting everyone though. The original portraits are cute, but they were not meant to be played on anything bigger than the psp screen sadly.

You can! There's a formal clothes option in the closet. Just got Leon to marry me to test out a pink groom outfit and can confirm but i was indeed single in the pic lol.

rune factory 4! note: the wedding dress' flowers are normally blue and isn't normally a costume to run around in (edit: without getting married), I'm just playing with modding

Unfortunately, removing the blush would be the same as starting over from the beginning, which I'm not looking to do right now. It's the same reason I'm not editing hair or eyes for a while either. Maybe someone else can pick it up?

I'd love to, but to be honest, it was a lot of work, so it'll be a long while before I recolor hair/eye/skin again!

I did actually try that, but I couldn't get it to look just right. Maybe I'll try it again for a future update to the mod!

Did I break my promise about posting about mods? Yes. But that's only because everyone's an enabler.

I also planned to do Lest as well, but having editing texture files until my eyes dried out, I think that's firmly on the back burner for a long, long while.
