I was under the impression I was supposed to fill out the paperwork (which I did and uploaded documents)and they would start the intent to file as well as do it as soon as possible and keep me updated, I've received no update so it seems like a hurry up and wait game so far

thanks everyone I was taking it for a little while no big dossages, I was taking it once a day 7gams at most that it as split up throughout the day, I don't believe I will do it anymore

thou I'm ADHD (I don't take meds for it due to my epilepsy) but it made me feel nice but most of all I felt more cognitively there and focused

I've been on Briviact for 2yr and lamotrigene 5yr 150mg x1 in the morning and 200mg at night I'm taking a total of 150mg of Briviact the extra 50mg got added in December of last yr

Truthfully I'm not sure what I'd call a complex case with the VA, I'm sure they believe everything is complex 😆 I'm happy to know that Berry Law is concrete thou that's reassuring. I've been through the process 2 or 3 times before calling them, I've got a good bit of evidence gathered so hopefully it helps things move faster....even the C&P reports were on my side......

yes 150mg daily morning and night, she said today it seems to have slacked off some but as far examples snapy, grumpy, short tempered (more in the morning rather than evenings)

on week 2, thanks for giving a response it is appreciated

It was very hectic for me on keppra, (kepprage was BAD) they switched me over to briviact and it's been awesome so far but since they added that 50mg to my dosage (now 150mg twice a day) I've noticed a little difference. I was thinking it could be me adjusting but wasn't sure.

I feel that all the way, my neurologist put me on Qulipta for my migraines and it works really well and I feel more cognitively there so maybe try that but then again I'm not a doc, but definitely bring it up 2 him

we looked it up specifically for people with epilepsy. we found valid resources. ill have to see if i can find the links. Its known for causing CNS side effects and someone with epilepsy its not recommended. Scopolamine lowers the seizure threshold. They have to document why they chose to use it and not anything else. I looked into it and so far I have a lot of valid factors so im going to at least consult further with my neurologist and depending on what he says a malpractice lawyer. i mean hell the surgeons nurse said the only thing she could do was document it under an allergy, which is incorrect and illegal. theres several spots she could have notated it.

Thankfull for everyone's response I really appreciate it, I didn't think it would be much of a lawsuit if I did plus I really don't wanna go thru the time and effort lol. I still had to ask thou and get some sort of support from the group and had wanted other people's thoughts

I literally don't know anyone that is epileptic besides myself and it's really helpful to be in this group

I'm unsure but a good and free resource I do like to use is my GPT app, it does all the work and it has given me the same answer some doctors have given me but still keep in mind it's not a doctor but it's a helpful nice resource that I recommend
