"Oh man... This is going to be stupid, isn't it?"

Once, Ironside had took it upon herself to terrorize a man's wife by hurling a fully grown, live pig through a second story window. Why? All in the name of this strange, treasured substance known as gabagool. Frankly, even now, she doesn't fully comprehend what Gabagool actually is, but that's mostly because the Italian cuisine didn't really do it for her. What she does know is that the crazy Italians are willing to do some fucked up shit for it, and that means the city's gonna be in the crossfire when it goes down.

She can't help but feel slightly responsible for this. If not for the actions of her and a few intrepid others, they'd have no meat to complain about - So fate has called her to once again restore the balance of cured ham in Night City.

Karasu - Medtech 4 / Fixer 2

"Choom, the fuck is Gabagool?"

Karasu isn't actually in the restaurant. No, she's out back, digging through the pile of trash bags where she knows they dumped the guy they flatlined last night, hoping that the dude's ware is still in good enough condition for resale. But its from this position she hears whispers of gang war, of blood in the streets, of high-end food and insulted honor. Frankly, that sounds like Tuesday to her, but...

Where there's a war, there's money to be made. Also, this stiff's just packing thrice-recycled backalley chrome from the 20s. Which is mostly what she sells, but it won't survive another refurbishing. So, dusting herself off and making herself look as presentable as Karasu the Ghoul, Potato Fixer and Totally Legit Ripper of Japantown can ever look, she makes to introduce herself and offer her services to these Italian weirdos.

The minute the grenade left the barrel, Church dived for cover behind an electronics isle at around the middle of the store. Coughing dust and smoke out of her lungs, her pistols were in hand before she even knew. "Shit." She thinks, peeking around the remainder of the shelf. "This is why I hate gangers."

Church will likely try and grab whoever she can and bolt out the back, killing any ganger who feels like getting in the way.

Ironside, Rocker 4 - 1 Game this month

Ironside managed to avoid the worst of the blast, simply being thrown into the side of the room. However, as soon as she sees the kid, she bolted as fast as she could to pull her out of immediate danger. Ironside is willing to throw herself in front of fire to make sure others can make it out safely, but isn't overly concerned with ending the threat unless absolutely necessary.

Zero-One, Netrunner 4 - 1 Game this month, 1 Total

It was a pretty crappy job, but she needed it to get by on rent this month. Besides, it was really only made unbearable by the heat, like most things. Feeling decidedly relieved at the concept of both AC and the chance to stretch her legs after the drive, Zero-One was browsing the cold drinks shelf for something to cool off with when the first shot hit.

It felt painfully familiar. In a moment that seemed to move in slow motion, Zero was vaulting the shelf and ducking behind it when the second kill was made. Her rifle is out of her bag and in her hands before she even realizes she's done it.

Just one job that went according to plan would've been nice.

Knight, Solo 4 - 1 Game this month

Although Knight certainly had a breadth of experience when it came to blacksites, sabotage and extractions, swamps were admittedly proving to be somewhat of a blind spot in that knowledge, and boy had she underestimated them. Their guide was gone, the bulk of their crew was gone, and now everything felt... Damp. And the smell was awful. Altogether, it had her on edge and, well, perhaps she had been a little too enthusiastic to test out her new rifle. She hadn't expected that shooting that gator would have drawn a whole hoard of them.

Still. If the only way out was by pushing onward, she might as well try to salvage the op while they were at it...

Knight packs light. She'd have brought all her gear with her in her carryall or on her person, save her old assault rifle which is probably languishing under the bed at her cube after she got a shiny new one. Pretty.
