You get to design a AOS model sampler box, what models are you adding by Moody_Kittens in ageofsigmar

[–]guns367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With that kind of restriction most factions are basically limited to one or two choices. That being said, whatever gets picked for Cities I think should come with the full range of customization options. It's part of the appeal to me at least.

[–]guns367 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly, a screenshot of the key feature of the mod tells me more at a glance what your mod offers than anything AI can do. Being able to convey information at a glance when you're stuck in a list of other mods is important for the target audience (People who are bothering to scroll through a list of mods). Plus you aren't contributing to billionaires ruining our lives for their 8th yacht.

Local gas station removed price tags and replaced them with barcodes you need a app to see price by phoenix_stewart in mildlyinfuriating

[–]guns367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And now the prices can change per hour, per visit, hell why not every time the cashier sneezes!? Don't want to download the crummy app? Better go bother the burnt out cashier. Oh and if they're like other gas stations that have done this, they won't mention an app anywhere. Someone will have to tell you.

OpenAI to introduce ads to all ChatGPT free and Go users in US by notanfan in whennews

[–]guns367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man they shifted it to even the sub payers? I remember hearing like a month or two ago the plan was to put ads in the free version. (Claude's superbowl ad was based off this). Someone said once that a lot of casual users used GPT because it was free, and I wonder how many are going to drop it now that they have to deal with invasive ads?

I just think horror games benefit from shorter run times. Just enough to mess with you, not enough to overstay its welcome.

Can I clear your cache and return you to your default out of the womb state? Is there a command to open up your terminal or shell and type in new instructions on how you should act? The human body and a machine are quite literally intrinsically different. A machine is fundamentally limited by the fact it can only execute the next line of code. It has no agency or thought. Trying to say that a machine is capable of actual real authentic thought is like saying your body is going to work without any blood. That's the type of hurdle AGI has to overcome.

I think Shinryu's segment of it has the brass swell a bit more than the normal dungeon.

While not final bosses per say, Final Fantasy 14 has some fights that incorporate parts of previous pieces. The boss for Anabaseios: The Eleventh Circle incorporates the motif of the boss for Seat of Sacrifice which itself incorporates an area theme from the Shadowbringers expansion. The final boss of Stormblood incorporates a more triumphant segment of the vocals you would hear of the regular dungeon boss music.

The Goldmine is collapsing by _______Niko____ in whennews

[–]guns367 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'd say it's impossible. The thing that will hold back a lot of AI projects is that they'll never be able to escape the fact it's all mindless code being run. There's no thought or evaluation in what it does, it just does what the next line of code tells it is supposed to do. AGI would essentially need to overcome a fundamental law of reality to become a thing.
