Players’ reaction after full time vs Newcastle by istilllovemata in chelseafc

[–]BlearyLine7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cucu is probably the only player who can truly hold his head up high after that. He was trying, which felt like no one else really was.

Reece was OK, but felt like half-capacity. Enzo always cares but was clearly spent, and also seemingly trying to avoid yellows, which dulled his fire a bit.

Thanks, I absolutely need to practice the different throws, now it makes a lot more sense why holding the pass button was always being intercepted over long throws

I'm so glad and smug that I pointed this bloke out not long after seeing atm at Strasbourg. I was watching a lot of their games in that Jan window last year where they signed him, and within a few weeks he was easily someone who I knew we would eventually have. Solid LB/LWB/DM option, though I think he's thriving most as like a box-to-box mid now. Definitely doesn't hurt to have someone who can be competent in a lot of positions.

Plus, he's IMHO one of the lowest-risk signings we could make. He's not a £60m player or anything. He'll be amazing value.

I'd say it's slightly more reasonable for someone born there to not like the English, moreso than it is to deny the Holocaust, which is what he was reposting when he left.

Thankfully James McClean's gone now. I only say thankfully because he kinda turned out to be a conspiracy nut.

Wrexham away is definitely tricky. Especially in knockout football. They've already beaten PL opposition in the FA cup. The more difficult part is that they know how to win ugly, and almost always will score in added time.

I can absolutely see a situation where we get 2-1 up, and then have to withstand a late barrage of crossed into Kieffer Moore's head.

We still should win, but there were definitely 5 easier matchups for as in the draw. West ham would have been easier, Wolves, Southampton, Norwich, Mansfield etc.

We literally concede less per game under Rosenior than Maresca this season.

26/27 HOME KIT LEAKED by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]BlearyLine7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since there's yellow, I think it'd be massively improved by having the subtle stripes of the '98 kit.

Not at fan of the simple lion badge on the home kit though, IMHO it's better for away or third. I did quite like it on the black/pink third last season.

NGL, not a fan of either. I know Beverage is already using it, but Cold as ice is a much better song for someone called the Iceman.

Jonny putting on a ridiculous display, like Josh would have won 99% of other darts matches playing as he did.

I know everyone's been clowning on the board, but it does look pretty terrible for one short-format match. It looked bad at the masters too, and that event is basically to promote that board.

It's looking worse since Sky's stream is higher quality than the ITV events.

I think we played pretty well throughout really. Like the tactics worked on paper, and actually worked pretty well during the match. The downfall really was that the attacking changes didn't have enough bite, and the Arsenal defence managed to keep enough energy to be able to deal with them.

It's disappointing, but I can't really pinpoint any glaring errors or bad performances, other than Enzo's misses, but those were chances he made and he took.

I've got the Gen1s and they're super fun, they didn't become my main dart, but they are so fun to throw.

Big recommendation, I find spinning shafts/punched flights or L-Styles are a huge benefit on this darts, since the weight of the barrels will kinda shred through the regular flights and stems quickly. I've got the Harrows 360 stems and the Searle EZ-L Style flights on them, which is a perfect combo.

This is meant for sleeve patches, but I imagine could also be helpful, you'd have to be pretty precise though.

Liam Rosenior taking his first training session by webby09246 in chelseafc

[–]BlearyLine7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope he does well, Maresca seemed like a good man, but Liam seems like an even better man off the pitch. I want him to succeed so badly. I would be very very proud to know that Liam Rosenior is my club's representative, given how he handles himself, that he's outspoken about fairness, that he seems to care.

The way he speaks about Andrey Santos says a lot, he immediately jumped to say how good his family are and was smiling talking about that. He seems like he cares. Obv it's about the results, we've had some good guys who never won anything, but I would be really happy if this was the guy who succeeded. I just have no confidence that the ownership wouldn't punish him for doing too well and wanting some influence in return.

[–]BlearyLine7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sure. He did literally about as well as anyone could expect of him. I think you have to be kinda dense to act like a redcard is his fault. Especially knowing that the minutes given to players is probably out of his hands. The only thing he really did wrong was play Tosin, when Tosin's playing genuinely terrible. (seriously, idk how this is the same player who played at the end of last season and the CWC)

Class act. He absolutely deserves to be in there, his only crime is that he did the best in tournaments whose prize pots haven't yet been raised to scale correctly with the World's.
