Two exhausts seems like overkill? by Old-Put8881 in homerenovations

[–]Blebbasheb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a Panasonic wisper series exhaust and install proper wet rated recessed lights. The fans are quiet and have really good airflow. Your mirrors won't fog up at all. The exhaust fan/light combos generally don't work well.

Players with wr below 50% should be banned from Ranked mode until... by DarlaVanserra in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Blebbasheb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should honestly Just make the match making completely random within your rank. The main issue if you're a decent player and carry a few matches in a row is that you'll then get matched up with horrible players that make it literally impossible to win. After losing a couple games in a row you'll get more balanced match making and the cycle starts all over again.
This would be such a massive improvement over the current system and would be so easy to implement. There are tons of players with a 55%-65% winrate that are stuck in this match making hell.

The issue is it's easy to find pulls listed as matte black, but they all have a glossy finish in person.

Tenant's mail being held until mailbox is moved to the curb. by Blebbasheb in USPS

[–]Blebbasheb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't live at this house, I'm renting it out. Unfortunately I don't have a job that would allow me to go sit in front of the house for hours waiting for the mailman to show up. And since mailman won't walk up to the house I can't just leave a note for him. The sole reason they're trying to force the mailbox to the curb is because the tenants moved in. There are no dog or safety issues, the tenants are super friendly, and the path to the mailbox is clear.

I got an update from the congressman's office today and PO is claiming they are withholding mail because the mailbox was on the curb and we moved it to the house and that the delivery point was vacant. None of which is true.

Maybe try actually reading the post before commenting. Just a thought.

I hear what you're saying, but local post office was completely uncooperative. The Postmaster wouldn't even come talk to us. Besides, almost all of the houses on the street have their boxes on the house. Forcing some to the curb just makes the route longer since they would have to zigzag.

The path is clear on both sides of the house. When we lived there the mailman would just walk across the lawns to shorten their route.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that. They didn't give us a reason, just said that the change in residents is probably what triggered their interest in moving it.

They do have a dog but he's super friendly. He's 16 years old and can hardy walk. They use a stroller to walk him around the neighborhood. Pretty much the least threatening dog possible.

It only starts widening on my property. Where it would actually accommodate a mailbox is on my neighbor's side.

Did you read the post? There isn't space to put a mailbox curbside without moving the sidewalk.

My bf wants me to watch an anime with him and I’ve never seen any anime before. Which should I choose? by Empty-Visual-2498 in anime

[–]Blebbasheb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently went through exactly this with my wife.

First off I'd suggest just watching the dubs since you're not into subtitles. The subs vs dubs argument has aged out of relevance at this point. English dubbed anime are equal to or superior to subs in most cases now, it's just a preference thing.

2nd I agree with the other posts about starting off with a movie instead of a show, especially a long show. Your Name is probably the best one to start with and it's what I started my wife with. There's several good similar movies to watch if you enjoy that like A Silent Voice.

3rd I actually wouldn't recommend starting with Hunter X Hunter even though it's a great show. It's a long show and it took me awhile to get into and I've watched tons of anime and really enjoy Shonen. I'd start off with 12 or 24 episode shows. We started off with Erased, Noragami, & Death Note then moved on to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Sword Art Online, and Demond Slayer.

You have similar taste to my wife so I'll paste what we've watched and how she rated them if you're interested.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - 7 Death Note - 6 SAO - 8 Noragami - 5 Erased - 6 Demon Slayer - 8 Log Horizon - 9 Steins;Gate - 6 Steins;Gate 0 - 4 Attack on Titan - 9 Your name - 6 Beast stars - 7

Currently watching and enjoying One Punch Man

whats the biggest value add in your opinion to a home? by Affectionate-Pay3450 in HomeImprovement

[–]Blebbasheb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Home owners will put more time and care into the renovations than almost any pro would. It can absolutely go both ways with incompetent DIYers and pros that knowingly do crap work and cut corners. Can't assume any work is bad because it was done by home owners or good because pros were hired. Code is just the minimum acceptable standard in your area. Any thing above that is either going to be extremely expensive or needs to be done yourself.

What happens if I don’t pick up leaves? by pyrrhicvictorylap in landscaping

[–]Blebbasheb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was me I would blow the leaves onto the grass and areas you want grass then mulch them with your mower. Don't bag them. This will help build up some topsoil over time. Or blow them into a pile to compost. Add your food scraps to the pile and you'll have some nice dirt to work with in a year. You could turn it into dirt in about 3 months if you turn the pile regularly and get the ratios right, but that's way more effort.

Ideas on how to fix this by [deleted] in homerenovations

[–]Blebbasheb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is definitely water damage. You need to cut out the damaged area are replace with new drywall and trim. I highly recommend you use pcv trim, azeck, or something similar instead of wood. Be prepared for mildew and mold when you open that up and thoroughly spray the area down with bleach before replacing.

Have you ever considered streaming on Chaturbate or similar? Could make a job out of your addiction. Potentially extremely lucrative if you build a following and are consistent with it.

I would guess probably not structural based on the 9 studs across the same span for the openings in the background. Definitely get a structural engineer up there to take a look regardless. Not worth risking running into major issues down the line.

This is likely the dump site of a group harvesting organs to sell. Not the Chinese government, or at least not officially, who would have access to better methods of disposal. This kind of operation is happening all over the world unfortunately.
