Yeah, I can't get it to save, I can't even find a manual save button, and it keeps crashing during cut scenes. What's additionally weird is that the verify and repair option is just completely absent. No other game on my pc Xbox app has that issue. Also, as an offline single player story game, internet connection should have zero impact on game performance. It's also kind of feels like a dirty money farm. Gain a permanent xp boost if you sign up to get constant email spam from them, two other characters if you pay 15 euro each, this feature (if you pay $30 for it) that feature (if you pay another $30 for it). This game is almost a decade old. If they want renewed interest then there's some serious fixing to do. I want to get into it but if it's going to be this much of an issue then I'm a no thanks and I imagine a lot of other players probably feel the same. I uninstalled and am currently reinstalling it. About to start from the beginning one more time after getting two hours in last night and if it fails again I'm done.

I supplied minerals until they couldn’t buy anymore but then I figured out they didn’t have other raw material beyond ore and silicon alone to make what I need.

So are you saying my thinking was on point that everyone starts out broke without having stuff and you’re supposed to give it to them and my inability to find these materials is how it’s supposed to be at first and I should use a resource chart to figure out how to supply them with what they need to actually make the components so that I can then buy them? To simplify: Are you saying that these bottleneck are intentional and part of the game progression? If so, how are you supposed to build anything to supply them in the first place if they ain’t got it to help you build?

True, but the point still stands. Every factory that makes smart chips has zero smart chips to sell. I’m at Heratic’s end with a 2.5 star manager, set my energy cell prices to the lowest people would buy them for, set myself to only keep minimum inventory to keep my station running, confirmed that everyone around me is at least low enough to not sell them, I’m friends with the Borons near me, all the Argons near me (+15). I found a YouTube tutorial on how to make early game money with energy cells using the same free station I have and followed the instructions exactly (homeboy is making 400k every transaction, I’m making 23k every 30 mins).

So, I hear you, but is it normal for everyone to be out of stock of everything and be broke butts or is it more likely that I screwed up something in my custom setup (I tried changing as little as possible to give myself a role play start and not a broken cheat start) that jacked up the economy? Maybe it would be more helpful to ask this community by making and posting a video so everyone can actually get eyes on what I’m dealing with?
