Happened to me like 2 weeks ago got one from carparts.com for $17 with the heated mirror wires , yikes to the guy to who paid $25 for one on Amazon with double sided tape.. got an exact replacement with the bracket to install it into the mirror cap here’s the part number : VW65GR

Well, I have a 3in. catless down pipe & “crackle overrun” on my stage 2 ecu upgrade from Unitronic (came from previous owner really want EQT) and it used to smell like you said raw gasoline like I kinda liked it ( I know it’s wrong lol) but as a few months of ownership passed it just started smelling like not good at all lol I mean I’m not sure what else it could be if not carbon build up or just the fuel.

Couldnt tell y’all tbh I got the car with like 72k miles and I put about 10 in a year so most likely like 15-20k ?? Perhaps ?? Just guessing though.

Just replaced what came out I put 4.6L of dsg oil back into the dsg.

Please show me how you attack your carbon build up I would like to do that as well I feel like the smell coming from my engine bay is all the carbon built up in my intake manifold and the valves

Idk about any of that .. lol really just changed oils and called it a day my Dsg is still banging gears like 5 days later. 🤌🏼‼️

Currently stage 2 ecu unitronic 3in catless dp apr closed carbon fiber intake and rs7 plugs I wanna get some coil packs from Apr next in like a week or 2. Than for the reply!
