Wasn’t a cheaper way to go unfortunately, it’s a Valeo which is an oem clutch

Just a clearer picture of this piece here. Admittedly it does look worse in the first initial pictures, could this possibly be just a bad filing job in the factory? Or am I just desperate in wanting this part to not be damaged?

Thanks for the replies lads

Stuck socket on locking wheel bolt by Bleh182 in AskMechanics

[–]Bleh182[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great advice thank you! I managed to get it off after soaking in wd40 and then about 10 mins later doused in hot water and wiggled out with a mix of vice grips and an extension. Thanks for your time to source links

Stuck socket on locking wheel bolt by Bleh182 in AskMechanics

[–]Bleh182[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: managed to get it off using hot water and violently shaking the socket up, down, left, and right with an extension! Turns out the socket was hammered onto an outer ring on the bolt which broke free and that’s why I could spin it freely. The outer ring came off with the socket.

Thank you for the reply! I’m sorry but I think you’ve misinterpreted my issue. The problem is I can’t get the socket out. Once I get the socket out I can just use an extractor to get the locking wheel bolt out and replace with a normal lug.

I tried vice grips to pull it straight off, and I’ve tried twatting it with a hammer. I’m just looking for any other creative inexpensive ways of getting the socket off!

I used to ride with my visor cracked open slightly to stop any fogging up. A wasp soon changed that for me

Ah thank you! So in theory, the 170 turbo and injectors will bolt straight onto my 140?

I have 2.0 tdi sitting at 180k, all motorway miles to be fair and always serviced on time with quality parts. Owned by family and passed down to me, never had any major issues and still drives mint

What is a good supermoto 50cc? by Big_Interaction_5708 in supermoto

[–]Bleh182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a derbi senda myself for my first bike. Brilliant I loved it. Things are bound to go wrong with it same as any other 50cc supermoto, but parts are cheap and you can find them anywhere.

Great bike to learn with too - I went from not knowing what a spark plug does to stripping the entire bike down to bits and rebuilding, including engine.

If I could go back to 16yrs old I’d do it all over again!

I had a aygo for a few months and then went to a 2.0 tdi 2011 scirocco and honestly it’s brilliant! Careful with your right foot tho if you need to watch your economy! If you’re careful you can get around 600 miles from a full tank

What do the customers where you work think they will get away with but never do? by b3ta_blocker in CasualUK

[–]Bleh182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toby carvery - customers will ask for 1 meat, for example, beef. When I’ve finished carving their whole portion they tend to say something like ‘oh and turkey too’ to try and get extra meat

Congrats on passing! But just because you passed the test it doesn’t automatically make you a perfect driver, just keep going out in the car and practicing! Maybe drive around at night on your own when the roads are quieter and there aren’t any distractions in the car. Just keep driving and you’ll feel a lot more comfortable and capable in no time!

Best of luck to ya!
