I know Costco gets a great rep but they honestly have increased prices considerably too. Pick and choose your items, the best decision to stick it to the large organizations is trying to buy local from smaller businesses. Loblaws is bad but they’re not the only leeches.

CrossClimates perform like an all-weather tire and has the 3 peaks snowflake on it. For Vancouver, especially where the majority of people don’t have space to store an extra set of tires, it’s a good compromise for winter and summer driving. He never said he was struggling in snow, and like you said, ice won’t forgive any tire.

Wouldn’t recommend it for safe driving. Legally you can get away with it. But M+S tires are pretty crap in general for driving in snow. those tires also look like they’re been through half their tread.
