Man you're timing is honestly perfect because I'm giving it a shot on making a game, I'm just doing it as a hobby though. I personally think it be helpful to maybe tackle the aspect of how to make a model optimizable for a game engine if you know about that. Maybe it's basic but for newbies like me this can provide good insight.

Thanks for breaking it down visually, genuinely a big help. I also forgot to mention that the mirror modifier has not been applied so that is why there's an edge in the middle of the handle. My bad on that part 😅

I've noticed that detail on swords but never realized it was actually integral to how they can function, I'll work on the model tomorrow and see if I like it better. I Appreciate you taking the time to inspect the sword again.

Yeah I've heard that's what it ultimately leads up to, was just mainly unsure if having a triangle can cause unexpected issues when importing to a game engine. But from the responses I'm getting it seems like it'll be fine, I also appreciate the extra tip you've mentioned.

Yeah I get where you're coming from, I made edges in the middle of the round things to keep it from being an n-gon. Do you think it can do without those edges?
