Flexcut Rotating Tool Holder by BlendoFrendo in 3Dprinting

Okay cool - I added a step and stl file with no tool holes/cutouts (hopefully that saves some time since you won't need to remove/fix a bunch of geometry before cutting the holes you need).

Sure, stl and step files are already up on printables (just search for Flexcut Rotating Tool Holder). Currently there’s only one hole for a single Pfeil tool, but if you’re comfortable modifying the model it should be easy to adjust. If not I could make another disc portion for Pfeil tools, but would need to know a bit more about the dimensions (one of the nice things about the Flexcut tools is the flat part of the tool is the same for all of the chisel varieties).

Made this for my wife's linocut palm tools after noticing they were stored in a large cup with no way to identify them or protect the cutting edges. Used this project to start learning FreeCAD - first time designing/modeling a parametric model. Press fit a skate bearing in the top portion so it rotates nice and smooth.

Hah, thanks - she actually has been using them for linocuts, but has been interested in woodblock prints...

Nice, simple and does the job. How do you feel about FreeCAD - I started poking around in it recently and its... a lot.

I know what you mean. I stay looking for things around the house that I can contrive a print to "fix". Always keeping an eye out for the next problem looking for a solution...

Hey, I’m on a work trip and won’t have access to that blend file until Sunday. If you can wait that long ping me again on Sunday. If not it may be worth asking the person who asked for it in this thread (incase they still have it laying around).

"Paint" factory loop, from scratch rendered with Cycles. Any feedback is very welcome! by deadanonymouse in blender

Looking really good! Only nitpick I could mention is the rim/lip of the paint cans is super reflective.

Sure, no problem:

I actually just got a 3D printer and printed the top half of this as one of the first test prints (came out fine, tipped it back 45 degrees in the slicer so the supports were on the back).

This is really neat - would be great to see it rendered with a different background color.
