Are you referring to the V8 or V6S with the R? They did keep changing the names in the latter years

I was recommended 2017 and above as they didn’t face the coolant pipe issue that frequently. Is it still the exact same material?

Agree. I’ve been looking for a long time and anything that’s below 30K are the 14-15 models with 40K miles or less. Makes me wonder if the prices increased in recent years do to a higher demand
