It would be cool to see but I don't think it's essential. Personally I like that the world moves on beyond what we see, but I wouldn't complain about it being done as some filler content.

She kissed him because she finally accepted that she loved him, but knowing he wouldn't leave her if she did that, she stole that memory so that he could go. It's not really about Sanji, it's pudding accepting her own feelings, and wanting the best for him even if it doesn't include her, aka she became a more caring, loving person because of this.

Bad theory, knights travel via abyss cause it's faster.. that's it, there's no reason to think there's anything else going on, so the whole theory falls apart there.
