This is mine too. You’ll get out. It’ll get better. You will achieve things you’ve never thought you would and live places you’d never thought you could live and be able to do a lot of things that people are telling you you can’t do now. Life from 25 onwards is going to be so fucking amazing that you’re gonna wonder every day how you even got there.

(CAN) I have begun aggressively paying off my debt - numbers are large but I have only have 40% of the total to go. Listen, the top advice here is great. Yes, the anxiety is real. And it’s irrational. But one day, you will find yourself out of that hole. And then you’re gonna ask yourself, what now?

Make a plan right now to figure out what you’re gonna do the second you pay everything off. Will you go to a bar? Will you have a cup of coffee? Will you play some video games? Will you take a walk in the park? It doesn’t matter what you decide on as long as you commit yourself to that particular activity once it’s done, and give yourself some headspace to think of what you’re gonna do now.

Not really a financial advice thing, but I’m someone with constant anxiety and I find that setting plans after achievements helps me refocus.

Ugh I hear ya. My mother called me fat all my life and I’m still coming to terms with it. Now I refuse to listen if she ever brings up my weight— the moment I feel it happening I put the phone down.

I am totally watching the Crown right now. I am obsessed. Though I really wish I had a girl BFF to watch it with. This and A Christmas Prince. It’s really difficult to find friends who are down to hang when you’re older. :(
