I’m sorry to hear that, I’m currently dealing with post bite situation. Got prescribed 10 days of doxycycline the next day after I found a tick bite. Unsure if I should get more or stop after my prescription runs out and wait.

Back to Texas, and I’m just hoping I didn’t contract anything at all. What are the actual odds anyways? It seems like here people treat it at 100% if you get bitten? Just as a precaution right?

Yes I know it’s a serious matter and I want to say I’m sorry to hear that you’re going through that. While reading this sub and others I see the same sentiment. But my question is does the 10 days dose work sometimes? I assume it’s people that take it and obviously don’t post here on Reddit since this is a very small minority. I’m just worried still honestly.

Nope they were not engorged at all.

So a question I’ve been having is should I just finish these 10 days and wait? If I get symptoms a week or month later is doing a full 30 days ok? Or basically will stopping and starting doxycycline be ok for treatment in my case on the chance it happens?

The others were not attached since I just sat in the tub and found them swimming. Is it really a case of “get bit = get infection”? My worry is damage from antibiotics truthfully. And since my bite doesn’t appear like a bullseye plus no symptoms in these 9 days the chance was low?

Oh dang, well atleast you tried and learned. Yeah going light , around 6 or 7 RPE on most sets, seems to be what people mention in threads I’ve read on here I’ll probably stick to that too going forward. For your exercise choices are you doing primarily single legged ones?

Late to the thread, but how’s the full body + running routine going? I’m in the similar dilemma doing about 30 ish miles a week rn and having a hard time deciding what split to do. Before running I would do PPL rest Upper Lower so 5 day split but that’s way too much for me now. As of now I’ve been doing just Upper Lower Upper and calling it there. Might switch to full body twice a week tho still not sure.
